Happy Halloween everyone! One of my favorite holidays personally. Free candy, awesome costumes and marathons of horror movies and games. This entire month I’ve been playing horror games non-stop and I’m going to review the 4 games I played. I was gonna review “Alien: Isolation” this week but since the sequel was just announced so I’m gonna review 2013’s surprise hit “Outlast”. “Outlast” was released to PC in 2013 and came out to great success both financially and critically, even getting better reviews then its competition “Amnesia”. Do to “Outlast”s success Canadian developer Red Barrels ported it to new-gen consoles bringing “Outlast” to a whole new audience and making it a mainstay series. So what is “Outlast” about? In “Outlast” you play as Miles Upshur, a freelance photojournalist who was tipped off by a whistle blower about radical experiments being performed on the mental patients at “Mount Massive Asylum” in Colorado and the world must know what is happening. One of the scariest games of all time is getting a sequel! Although it was teased last year it wasn’t until this morning where Canadian game developer Red Barrels confirmed that they are making a sequel to their successful survivor horror game “Outlast” nicely titled “Outlast 2”. Not much information has been released other then that this game will deal with the fallout of the events of the first game and that the night vision camera will return. “Outlast” was a first person survival horror game that had you playing a photojournalist tipped off by an unnamed source that very “evil” things are happening at an asylum up in Colorado. Once you arrive there you discover something far beyond evil is happening and now you must run and hide for your life and escape the horrors of the asylum. I’m going to be writing a review for the game tomorrow so if you are interested in “Outlast” definitely check back

The holiday known as Halloween, originated with two separate festivals, the Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced Sow-en) and the Christian’s All Saints Day. Celts celebrated “Samhain” (Summer’s End) as far back as 2,000 years ago. This was the time when they held festivals celebrating the dead, the harvest and the beginning of the new year (November 1st). The Celts believed that on the night before the new year the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead was at it’s thinnest. On that night it was believed that the dead returned as ghosts. At sun-down people donned costumes and masks, huge bonfires were lit, people gathered around, many dancing around the fire, and sacrifices were made. All to pay tribute to the Celtic deities. After the celebration each family took a piece of lit wood or coal home to light their fires. People would leave offerings of food and wine outside in-front of their doors

One of the best parts of Halloween is roaming around, seeing the creative ways people decorate their homes. Christine H. McConnell, a photographer, artist and model, takes decorating to a whole new level. This Halloween, her DIY house, covered in eyes, is beyond awesome. McConell has stated that she has had a life long affair with the horror genre, which is evident in her photography and decorating. Last year McConnell embraced the theme of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’. I look forward to seeing what she will create next Halloween. Follow Christine H. McConnell on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and visit her website. She also has a cookbook coming out soon that reflects her unique style.

Show me The Money I read an article on Markus Persson, the billionaire developer of Minecraft and why the media says he hates being a billionaire: https://recode.net/2015/08/29/minecraft-billionaire-markus-persson-hates-being-a-billionaire/ Now I don’t know how much of this was taken out of context. I would think with that kind of expendable income, I could find a few things to at least occupy my time instead of whining to the media on how unhappy I am. Then again, I’m not a billionaire so there’s that. No doubt every jackass with a story is after you to give them money and that’s gotta be depressing. Everyone wants you, but they don’t, so yeah, it seems like a vicious circle for the person with money. And a pain in the ass. So my question to him and other people with money falling out of their assholes (and this has everything to do with Cynema, Ross Patterson and his two comedy films FDR American Baddass and Helen

It’s that wonderful time of year when people’s yards and houses are filled with skeletons, pumpkins and monsters. For Chillicothe, Ohio, a yard decoration turned out to be the real thing. At 8:30 am on Wednesday morning, a construction worker went to get a close up look at a body decorating a fence, only it turned out be a lot more than just your average stuffed dummy, it was the body of a murdered woman. The body was hanging from it’s sleeve from the fence, and the neighbors all thought it was just a decoration. Tammy Dixon, one of the witnesses to the find, was quoted as saying “Just put my hands over my face and said ‘This can’t be happening here, it’s not real’, and ‘I just didn’t see what I thought I saw.”‘ The victim had been beaten so badly that her face was unrecognizable. Later the body was identified as Rebecca Cade, a 31 year old mother,
