Author Interview: John L. Davis of American Revenant Series

I’m doing something a bit different this week. Rather than posting a book review, I’m sharing an interview I had the opportunity to do for Gores Truly with author John L. Davis of the American Revenant series. He agreed to chat with me regarding the American Revenant series, and offered to give us some insight into himself, his process, and what we can expect from this shining new author in the future. If you are unfamiliar with Davis’ work, you can find a review of his debut novel American Revenant: Hometown Exodus. The series is set in Hannibal, MO and features a community of people who band together to survive a zombie apocalypse. It is honestly one of the best zombie series’ I’ve had the pleasure of reading in a long time, and I would encourage you to check it out if you haven’t. The Short Film ‘Hush’ Continues To Take Film Festivals By Storm

Michael Kehoe is the writer/director of ‘Hush’ , a short film taking film festivals by storm. Every time I check my Twitter feed or talk with Michael there is a new update and another award. I’ve never seen anything like it. ‘Hush’ truly is fantastic and knowing that there will be a full length film has me really excited. You see, the short is actually one scene from the movie. An Interview With Michael Kehoe Writer/Director Of ‘Hush’.

Michael Kehoe has had a long history in Hollywood. He began his career as Sylvester Stallone’s assistant during the filming of ‘Rocky IV (1985). In 1994 Kehoe had directed the short film ‘Second Dance’ that was an official selection at Sundance. Since then the writer/producer/director has been very busy. He has been involved with such movies as ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’, ‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’ and ‘7500’. Now Kehoe is now working on a new film titled ‘Hush’. The ‘Hush’ short, which is designed to help Kehoe raise money for filming the full length movie, is taking film festivals by storm. This week I had the honor of interviewing author and business owner Marcus Wynne, who has been featured on shows including Dateline, Primetime, Oprah and Good Morning America. The US Army Veteran worked with the Federal Air Marshals for a time. Marcus is the CEO of Accentus-Ludus LLC ,which is the world’s foremost training designer for military and police forces all over the world using cognitive neuroscience. An Interview With Young Actress Talia Dobbins Of The Sacrament

This past weekend I had the pleasure of talking with Ms. Talia Dobbins, an extremely talented, funny and well spoken young lady. Talia has already had an impressive acting career . She is a true professional, to be so young. Talia’s latest film role was in The Sacrament, directed and written by Ti West. The Sacrament is a dark thriller about a man who travels to the remote location of Eden Parish, to find his sister. The movie is loosely based on the story of Jim Jones, a charismatic church leader who’s life ends with the mass suicide of 918 people. Talia has had many other roles, in a long list of movies including A Better Life, 5 Minutes (2012) , Where the Mangos Grow (2013), Eat (2012), The Gift and several movies by The Savannah Collage of Art and Design . Domiziano Arcangeli – Model, Actor, Producer,Director, CEO of Empire Films

If you don’t know the name Domiziano Arcangeli you should. Domiziano is an award winning actor, model, director, producer and CEO of Empire Films. He has been involved in over 180 films, including producing and staring in the recently released film The Ghostmaker. Domiziano was born in Venice Italy to an American mother and an Italian father. He inherited his love for art from his grandmother who was an artist. Domiziano broke into the spotlight as a child when he was discovered by renowned photographer Helmut Newton. Soon after he fell in love with the world of film and since has made a name for himself in International, Italian and American films, working with some of the most legendary people in the film industry.
