Spoiler Free Movie Review: ‘The Passenger’ Is An Intense Thriller With Heart

The intense, emotional thriller The Passenger is set to be released this week, and I had the opportunity to check it out. Don’t worry. I’m not going to spoil anything for you. This is a spoiler-free review. The film centers on a shy, passive young man who is forced to face his fears and confront his troubled past and must find a way to survive when his co-worker snaps and goes on a violent killing spree, dragging him along for the ride. Directed by Carter Smith from the script by Jack Stanley, the film stars Kyle Gallner (Smile) and Johnny Berchtold (“Tiny Beautiful Things”), as well as Liza Weil, Billy Slaughter, and Morgan Shaw. After watching the trailer, my curiosity peaked, and I’m so glad it did. Spoiler- Free Film Review: Susie Searches (2022)

Director Sophie Kargman’s mystery thriller Susie Searches is a fun ride that offers an engaging main character and several surprises as it examines how far some people will go to become famous. Susie (Kiersey Clemons) is a university student with a part-time job at a burger joint, an internship at the local police station, and a true-crime podcast devoid of listeners. Susie takes her lifelong talent of guessing whodunit correctly when her mother — who currently suffers from MS — begins to read her mystery novels to try and solve the disappearance of popular fellow student and meditation influencer Jesse (Alex Wolff), who has been missing for about a week. Susie cracks the case, rescues Jesse and even names a suspect — and then things start going south. Final Trailer For ‘Outpost’ Teases An Intense Horror-Thriller

Following its premiere in 2022 at FrightFest, the horror-thriller Outpost gets a new poster and trailer ahead of its release On Demand and Digital. Post-Apocalyptic Thriller ‘Stronghold’ Scores An August Release

Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, has just announced the release date for the indie, post-apocalyptic thriller Stronghold, written and directed by Julia Camara. Stronghold is a dystopian tale of resilience in which a young survivalist and her mother live isolated entirely in the woods. When a distressed stranger appears, their lives and future are threatened. The film stars Bianca A. Ranger Lennon (Georgina Campbell [Barbarian] in an engaging lead performance) has finally been assigned a job she has long waited for: being in charge, for 90 days, of a backcountry area that requires being taken there by helicopter and that leaves her virtually cut off from civilization except for communication by walkie-talkie and contact with hikers, campers, and fellow rangers.
