Saban Films takes us back in the woods with the first trailer for Mike P. Nelson‘s (The Domestics) new take on 2003’s hillbilly horror Wrong Turn. Before you complain about it being a reboot, you should know that Alan B. Unless you’ve been living under a rock somewhere, you’ve heard that a new limited series adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand” is on its way. I had the opportunity to sit down with one of the show’s cast, Brad William Henke, who plays the central role of Tom Cullen. Of course, this is far from the first time that I’ve heard Henke’s name, you see he’s starred in two of my favorite series, “Orange Is the New Black” in which he played a prison guard with a wrapped sense of justice, and “Justified”, as a redneck bad guy. Dark Star Pictures has announced the January release of Mickey Reece’s critically acclaimed indie award-winning vampire film Climate of the Hunter. Netflix has just unleashed the new trailer for the limited serial killer docuseries “Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer” that delves into the murders committed by Richard Ramirez. The series tells the spellbinding true story of how one of the most notorious serial killers in American history was hunted down and brought to justice. In the sweltering summer of 1985, a record-breaking heatwave hit Los Angeles, along with a series of murders and sexual assaults that at first seemed disconnected. The victims were men, women, and children ranging in ages from six to 82, no one was safe. They came from different neighborhoods, racial backgrounds, and socioeconomic levels. The first batch of images is here from Sion Sono‘s action-horror movie Prisoners of the Ghostland which Nicolas Cage describes as the wildest film he’s ever starred in. In the film, “When a notorious criminal, Hero (Cage) is sent to rescue an abducted girl who has disappeared into a dark supernatural universe, they must break the evil curse that binds them and escape the mysterious revenants that rule Ghostland.” It’s out there. I wear a skintight black leather jumpsuit with grenades attached to different body parts, and if I don’t rescue the governor’s daughter from this state line where they’re all ghosts and bring her back they’re gonna blow me up.” Cage says. Back in November, we reported that Isabelle Fuhrman is returning for the prequel to 2009’s Orphan as Esther. Today, we’ve got the first behind the scenes look at Orphan: First Kill via Fuhrman’s social media. Filming will soon wrap on Orphan: First Kill and according to reports, 23-year-old Fuhrman looks as if she hasn’t aged a day since Jaume Collet-Serra’s hit film debuted thanks to clever angles, world-class makeup, and effects. In 2009 Fuhrman brought to life the twisted and terrifying Esther to life. The character was actually a 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer, posing as a child up for adoption. Today NACON Gaming and Cyanide Studios released a six-minute gameplay trailer with commentary by Cyanide’s game director Julien “Patch” Desourteaux for their upcoming RPG Werewolf: The Apocalypse- Earthblood that’s set to be released February 4th, 2021. The trailer showcases the abilities of the game’s protagonist Cahal, a werewolf, along with a look at how combat in the game will look like. Cahal can use his human form to interact with the environment and interact with other characters, his wolf form allows him to move quickly and sneak around, and finally, his “crinos” form (werewolf form) which is his combat form where players can switch his “stances” to suit their combat needs may it be strength or agility.
