For hardcore horror films the video, posted on alexiabertha’s YouTube channel, is clearly fake, seeing that it is made up of clips from films and series, like Crimson Peak and Penny Dreadful. If the day comes when Netflix announces an Addams Family series or film, we will let you know.

One such adaptation is for his 1992 novel, Gerald’s Game, which will be released exclusively on Netflix sometime this year. This adaptation was directed by Mike Flanagan, based on a script he wrote with Jeff Howard. The movie stars Bruce Greenwood, as Gerald Burlingame and Carla Gugino, as Jessie Burlingame , and features a supporting cast that includes Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, Carel Struycken, and Chiara Aurelia. It’s amazing to see all of the comic book tales beyond just origin stories get treated with respect. Video game adaptations are where comic book adaptations were in the mid-Eighties.
