Watch The Creepy AF Trailer For Netflix’s “The Haunting Of Bly Manor”

Today, we’ve got the first haunting trailer and premiere date for Mike Flanagan‘s new series “The Haunting of Bly Manor” and we have to tell you, it’s creepy AF. We’re so excited! Based on the Henry James novella, The Turning of the Screw, about a young woman who travels to the countryside to care for two orphaned children. There she encounters entities and happenings she can not explain. Several of the cast members from “The Haunting of Hill House” are returning including Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas plays the uncle of the children, Kate Siegel, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen who stars as Peter Quint a business associate of the uncle. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Amelie Bea Smith play the roles of the young siblings. Rahul Kohli has also joined the cast as has T’Nia Miller who plays the manager of the house. “The Haunting of Bly Manor” premieres on Netflix on October 9, 2020.

‘Z’ Director Brandon Christenson Talks Terror & Imaginary Friends In Our Interview

One of the best indie horror films of 2020 is writer-director Brandon Christenson‘s Z which premiered on Shudder earlier this year. The film, which we scored as a 5 out of 5 in our review, is haunting and downright unnerving. Of course, when I had the opportunity to pick Christenson’s brain I couldn’t resist. The film, co-written by Colin Minihan, follows a family whose son has become dangerous. He blames everything on his invisible friend Z, but it doesn’t take long for Elizabeth, the mother (Keegan Connor Tracy), to come to the realization that Z may very well be real. Once she realizes that her son is being influenced by a dark entity she reaches out to a psychiatrist played by Stephen McHattie, leading it to be revealed that she’s faced the entity before. Animated “X-Files” Spin-Off Coming To Fox

While “The X-Files” starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson my be over (*wipes away a tear), we haven’t seen the last of the weird cases from the iconic series. A new animated series titled “The X-Files: Albuquerque” from Fox will take fans on new investigations without Scully and Mulder, TV Line reports. According to the site, “ the potential series will center an office full of misfit agents who investigate X-Files cases too wacky, ridiculous or downright dopey for Mulder and Scully to bother with. They’re essentially the X-Files’ B-team.” Rocky Russo and Jeremy Sosenko (“Paradise PD”) are attached to write the pilot episode and executive produce.“The X-Files” creator Chris Carter is attached to executive produce as well.

Netflix Is Taking Fans To Raccoon City For New “Resident Evil” Live-Action Series

Netflix is taking franchise fans to Raccoon City in the new “Resident Evil” TV series. Today, we have an update! First reported last year, it has now been revealed the series has officially been ordered. We have also learned of some other details. The Twitter page NXOnNetflix posted that the live-action series will focus on the Wesker kids who have just moved to Raccoon City where they will uncover the dark secrets of the company and the city. The first episode is titled “Welcome to New Racoon City,” which implies that it is a continuation of the gaming franchise. THR has confirmed the news stating: “Following months of development and an extensive search for a showrunner, Netflix has officially ordered eight episodes of a Resident Evil TV series. David Tennant Stars As Serial Killer Dennis Nilsen In Limited Series “Des”

There are a lot of true crime fans, including myself. There are a lot of reasons why humanity is obsessed with serial killers and murders, be a it morbid curiosity or the desire to understand why they kill and what drives them. We often see films and series based on killers such as Charlie Manson, Ted Bundy, and Jeffrey Dohmer, this time we will see the story of a lesser-known, but still deadly killer, Dennis Nilsen. A new limited series is coming to ITV that delves into Scottish killer and necrophile Dennis Nilsen who viciously took the lives of twelve young men and boys between 1978 and 1983 in London. Earlier this week we shared the first look at Netflix’s “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” Now, the official Twitter page for the series has unveiled something interesting, a faux wanted ad, and a number that fans can actually call. We got curious and called. The number leads to a spooky message recorded by young actress Amelie Bea Smith who states that interviews will be held for the nanny position in five days, followed by the creepy humming of a tune. Netflix’s “Locke & Key” Will Return For Season 2

With the pandemic causing chaos and delays with the film and TV industry we are left with questions to what will be renewed and what will be canceled. Today, we’ve got some good news, Netflix’s hit series “Locke & Key” is confirmed to be returning for season two and we’ve got an update. Carlton Cuse told IGN earlier this week that the team of writers are currently hard at work on the show’s second season, which Netflix has already months ago green-lighted. CBS All Access Reveals Premiere Date For “The Stand”

CBS All Access announced today that director Josh Boone‘s (The New Mutants) 9-episode limited series adaptation of Stephen King‘s “The Stand” is set to premiere this December.
