Fear the Walking Dead/ Bling Ring actor Israel Broussard has signed on to fight aliens in the invasion thriller Extinction from director Ben Young (Hounds of Love) and Oscar nominated screenwriter Eric Heisserer (Arrival), Variety reports.
Broussard will co-star with Michael Pena and Lizzy Caplan in Universal and Good Universe’s film that follows a father (Pena) whose recurring nightmare of losing family becomes a real threat when aliens invade the planet.
Beauty and the Beast’s Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman of Mandeville will produce. Mandeville’s Alexander Young will serve as executive producer for the project along with Joe Drake of Good Universe, and Nathan Kahane.
