It has been nearly thirty years since ‘Twin Peaks’ aired, but the show still has plenty of die-hard fans. Many were over the moon when news came back in 2015 that Showtime would be reviving the spooky series.

Last week, we reported a image that surfaced from the website Welcome to Twin Peaks of a calendar marking April 30th as the premiere date, but it turns out that information wasn’t true.

Today, the official premiere date for season 3 was announced by Showtime as May 21st at 9pm. The new season will have 18 episodes, according to Deadline, filmed as one long movie then cut to fit the time slots.

Back in April, Showtime unveiled the new massive cast list, 217 actors and actresses, including David Duchovny, Ashley Judd, David Lynch, Michael Cera, Jim Belushi, and Nine Inch Nails rocker Trent Reznor (full list below).
