‘State Of Mind’ Review: A Stunningly Beautiful Sci-Fi Thriller
Daedalic Entertainment gave me access to their newly released sci-fi thriller, “State of Mind” that is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game takes place in Berlin where the year is 2045 and Earth’s health is declining. Technology is changing people’s lives for better and worse resulting in the rise of a terrorist group known as Breakpoint who are against the latest in technological advancements, especially with humanity’s reliance on drone, and robotic tech. The story of “State of Mind” is seen through the eyes of people from two dramatically different ends of the social spectrum, those who live in Berlin and those who live in the utopian city known as City 5. The first thing that stood out for me is the visual style of the game, for being low-poly, it’s beautiful! The scenery is absolutely stunning and visually appealing, reminding me of “Blade Runner” and the overall tone also reminding me of

As a big fan of the Thomas Harris novels and cinematic adaptations of the Hannibal character, she is quite enamored of the TV show. “I love how Hannibal is even more sophisticated, intelligent, and articulate than in the films,” she enthuses. “This makes him more unsettling than ever before.” During her panel at FannibalFest she will dig into the connections between food and death. De Vetten hopes attendees will enjoy not only the morbid and “murdery” factoids she presents but also her edible interpretations of some of her favorite scenes in the show. When asked what kind of cake
