‘The House That Jack Built’ Sparks Walkouts At Cannes
Danish Director Lars Von Trier made his returns to the Cannes film festival after a seven-year ban for a controversial remark made at his last appearance where he jokingly said he sympathized with Adolf Hitler. Trier showcased his latest film, The House That Jack Built. The movie stars Matt Dillon as a serial killer named Jack. After the showing, the film received a six-minute standing ovation from the audience that significantly shrunk in size since the film started. Over 100 audience members walked out during the picture’s showing and immediately expressed their disgust for the film. One of the biggest factors that sparked the walkout was a scene where it shows the title character Jack graphically shooting children. Another factor that caused walkouts was the graphic depiction of murderous torture. If Trier wanted to make an impression at the festival that previously banned him, it seems he accomplished his goal. The House That Jack Built will be out in 2018

Fox is closing down “The X-Files”, at least for now, network CEO and co-chair Gary Newman revealed today during a conference call with reporters. The news comes only two months after the eleventh season’s finale, which star Gillian Anderson stated would be her last. Following the finale, the series’ creator Chris Carter told TV Line, “I can’t imagine there wouldn’t be more X-Files, in some shape or form. I think there are lots more stories to tell and ways to tell them. I’m leaving this as a giant cliffhanger, and Gillian has announced that sh’s not coming back. Hard-core X-Files fans know there have been no real endings on the show.”

14th Foot Washes Ashore In Canada
Over the past decade, there’s been a strange occurrence in the southernmost part of British Columbia, human feet washing ashore from the sea. Last week the 14th foot washed ashore on Gabriola Island further fueling concerns as well as conspiracy theories. The human feet that wash ashore are still inside shoes (in some cased hiking boots) leaving some to theories that there’s a serial killer cutting up victims and dumping them at sea, or that they’re victims of human trafficking, the theories go well beyond earthly possibilities to aliens. It’s been stated many times by the Canadian Mounted Police that what’s occurring is strangely natural in the case of human remains that are out at sea. As the human body breaks down and sinks, the feet, protected by the shoes that are able to float, detached from the legs and get carried by the ocean’s current bringing them to the shorelines of British Columbia. Not many are aware the coroner’s

Enter custom van drivin’ Mark Hamill surrogate Billy (Kim Milford), a down on his luck teen constantly left to fend for himself by his over-sexed Mother and hounded by some wacky cops (who complete with their own ragtime piano theme). Billy naturally finds the weapon mentioned previous, and begins to fuse with it courtesy of it’s funky fresh control medallion…slowly becoming a mutant himself. Soon a governmental agent, teen partying, vehicular scene padding, and “pew pew” lasers combine to form one hell of an entertaining sci-fi drive-In flick experience! Look, I’ll lay it out for ya; I’ve loved the hell out of Laserblast ever since I saw it on some regional sci-fi picture show or another in the late ’80’s. It’s chock full of hand
