Milla Jovovich Set To Star In ‘Monster Hunter’ Adaptation
Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich is teaming back up with director Paul W.S. Anderson (her husband) and producer Jeremy Bolt for Constantin Film’s Monster Hunter, Variety reports. Set to begin production this September with a $60 million budget in South Africa, the film is an adaptation of the video game franchise that first debuted back in 2008. The game tasks players with hunting down monsters. Anderson revealed that in the film, for every monster, there is a hero.” “An ordinary man in a dead end job discovers that he is actually the descendant of an ancient hero. He must travel to a mystical world to train to become a Monster Hunter before the mythical creatures from that world destroy ours.” There are no real central characters so it’s a bit like when we first approached Resident Evil and imposed our own characters and story on that world,” Anderson stated. “I think this is a perfect IP for us to do

Movie Review: End Trip (2018)
It’s just another night on the job for hapless UBER (or it’s rip-off cinematic equivalent) driver Brandon (Writer/Director Aaron Jay Rome) when he picks up his latest fare, Judd (Eric LeBlanc)…a charming professional photographer with nowhere in particular to go who explains that he is going through a messy break-up with his girlfriend after she discovered a dating app on his phone. Brandon and Judd become fast friends, and our hero agrees to help Judd fix his broken relationship. Of course if that were all there was to tell with this tale I wouldn’t be talking about it here at Horror Fuel now would I?!! Suffice it to say, there are shocking truths to be learned, and once they are found out, some serious shit will hit the fan! (and yes, I will sacrifice a decent synopsis to keep a great film’s surprises intact for you my faithful fiends!) End Trip is, simply put, one hell of a fantastic fright

Trailer Surfaces For Syfy’s “Tremors” Series
Last month we were saddened to have to report that Syfy had killed their plans to air the “Tremors” television series starring Kevin Bacon. Now, somehow, the trailer for the pilot has found its way onto the net and it makes us even more bummed that the series isn’t happening. While the plot for the show was kept mostly under wraps we do know that it was meant to be a continuation of the original film with Bacon reprising his role as Val McKee in Perfection, Nevada. Fred Ward would have reprised his role as Earl Bassett. P.J. Byrne (Rampage), Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead), and Emily Tremaine (The Blacklist) were set to co-star. The pilot episode was directed by Vincenzo Natali, the director of both Cube and Splice. Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle) wrote the script. Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think.

A Bad Day For The Devil – Fox Kills Two Great Shows
It’s been a bad day for the Devil, Fox killed not one, but two great horror series, “The Exorcist”, and “Lucifer”. Needless to say, fans are upset. After two wonderful seasons, the folks at Fox gave The Exorcist the ax. The show followed two priests (Ben Daniels, Alfonso Herrera) on a mission to exorcise the demons that plague a different family each season. Lucifer, the devil himself wasn’t immune to Fox’s reach. After three seasons the show is done, which is a shame. You can’t help but love Tom Ellis’s cheeky character. Hopefully, before the end of this season, we’ll find out if Lucifer gets the girl (Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German)), if D.B. Woodside’s Amenadiel will complete his mission, and if Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) will find peace. Those aren’t the only two shows to get killed by Fox this week. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “The Last Man on Earth” were also canceled.

Meet Atlas, Boston Dynamic’s ‘Running’ Robot
Boston Dynamics are at it again, showing off their latest achievements while at the same time terrifying some members of the public. Yesterday Boston Dynamics posted a video on Youtube showing their latest breakthrough, Atlas. Atlas is one of the latest humanoid robots created by the tech giant but Atlas can do something we have not seen a robot do on two legs…run. Well, to be honest, it’s more like jogging, but Atlas is able to do so without power cables, and no hoists keeping it upright etc. Some find the appearance of Atlas and other robots from Boston Dynamics to be disturbing because of the lack of faces. Many have made comparisons between Atlas and Terminators as well as the killer robots from I Robot and drawing comparisons to the malfunctioning Synthetics from the Alien movies. The 4 foot 9 robot is able to jog on even and uneven terrain due to its ability to maintain balance, showcasing that
