David Bowie Starred In A Little Known X-Rated Short Horror Film (Watch)
The world mourned the day that music icon David Bowie passed away. One of the worst parts of losing him is that we will never see or hear anything new that he had created. While it is not new, there is something of Bowie’s that you probably haven’t seen before. Bowie starred in a little-known short horror film titled The Boy in 1968. Exclusively shown in porn theaters when released, director Michael Armstrong’s film scored an X-rating due to the violence in the 13-minute film. The story centers on an artist (Michael Byrne) who paints a picture of a young man. The image somehow turns to flesh and stalks the artist. ‘Death Pool’ Dives onto DVD and VOD June 20th
Those who like a little murder with their sun and fun having something to look forward to on June 20th with the release of Death Pool. While I’m not sure if hot young Pool Cleaners exist outside of porno’s, Death Pool turns one into a killer with its main man Johnny Taylor (god that’s a great name for a killer.) I’m not sold yet on a Slasher based around drowning (the gore hound in me needs some blood to wet my appetite), but Death Pool doesn’t look half bad. There’s a fine line between goofy and scary with films like this though, so we’ll just have to wait until the 20th to see whether Death Pool will make a splash or sink to the bottom.

For fans of a horror down under, Lost Gully Road, the new Austrailan Supernatural Thriller from Johnny Ghost director Donna McRae might be just what it takes to scratch that Aussie itch, with the first teaser dropping onto Youtube. And teaser is the right word for it, because this little trailer doesn’t tell you jack shit about the movie. Not that going into a movie knowing jack shit about it is necessarily a bad thing. Nothing ruins a good twisty movie like spoiling the hell out of it in the marketing. From the press release, Lost Gully Road “tells the story of Lucy, a directionless young woman who travels to a secluded cottage in the forest to wait for her sister. With no television and little communication with the outside world she spends her days alone and drinking to pass the time. That is, until her unexpected host decides to keep her company…” Wow, spending days alone and drinking to

Meet The Newest LBGT Icon, The Babadook ?
Pride month is in full swing and fate has it a mistake made Netflix has cast the creepy stove-pipe-hat-wearing ghoul from The Babadook, one of 2014’s biggest films, as a new LBGT icon. So how did Netflix transform the creepy character from scary to utterly fabulous? They accidentally put the film in the LBGT section of their streaming service and things snowballed from there. Following the news and multiple memes the icon was born. If you think about it, The Babadook, written and directed by Jennifer Kent, has a lot in common in with some members of the LBGT community. He’s an entity hiding the shadows like many of the closeted members of the community. He’s different and very flamboyant. I mean, come on he rocks a top hat and cloak. The family knows he’s there but try to look past him and ignore what he is. At the end of the film he “comes out” and the main character
