Sadistic Soccer Sociopath Signs Contract

I am a huge sports fan. Obviously (adhering to the overwhelming Canadian stereotype) I love to watch and play hockey. Football, softball, basketball, MMA, and various other sports are always on my radar. One sport I just can’t get into is soccer (or futball for all you purists out there). But something has happened in the wide world of sports that has made it impossible to ignore this boring spectacle. If you like soccer more power to you, I wish I did, and I wish you all the best…unless you are cheering for the Boa Esporte Clube in Brazil. This team just signed a new goalie named Bruno Fernandes das Dores de Souza. I don’t know if that name is familiar to anyone, but he was in the news back in 2010 for murdering and torturing his girlfriend to keep her pregnancy from his wife. Oh, he also fed her body to his dogs. So here’s the story, His mistress,

Amazing Stories Revival In The Hands Of Hannibal Creator Bryan Fuller

As a kid, one of my favorite things to watch was reruns of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories. The series featured episodes that were everything from sci-fi to horror and was directed by the who’s who of directors including Martin Scorsese, Tom Holland, Tobe Hooper and Spielberg himself. But sadly, the show ended in 1987, after just two seasons. At SXSW Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller revealed that he is currently writing scripts for the show’s revival. He will be joined in the writers’ room by Emily Gordon, Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jane Goldman, Crave reports. We are working on a variety of scripts from a variety of sources, and we’ve got a lot of really great writers involved.” Fuller told Crave. “So it feels like I’m curating the Amazing Stories magazine. Yeah, so that’s very exciting because I get to collaborate with other writers and just let them do their thing under that umbrella, which is a relief.” Image: Crave

Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: Linnea Quigley

It’s often said that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. But there just happens to be one woman who is trash and treasure all in one, and her name is Linnea Quigley. Now when I speak of her as “Trash“, my Little Monsters, I am obviously speaking of her iconic character from the 1985 classic, Return of the Living Dead. In the late 70’s, after graduating from high school in Davenport, IA, Linea and her family relocated to Los Angeles. She began working at a health spa owned by Jack Lalane…yes, the Jack Lalane from the juicer infomercials who swam while handcuffed and shackled and also towing 70 rowboats behind him at the age of 70. But this is about Linea, so let’s not get side tracked… like I just did. Anyways, while working at this spa, Linnea met models who were employed as extras on films. Friends began suggesting to Linnea that she should try acting, and luckily

The Fly Getting A New Remake By Fox

It has been just over thirty years since David Cronenberg unleashed The Fly, the remake of the 1958 Kurt Neumann film of the same name. Cronenberg’s version, which starred Jeff Goldblum as a scientist who transforms into a giant, mutated fly after an experiment goes wrong, was one of the greatest practical effect films of the time. It seems that every thirty years or so we get a remake of The Fly. So what’s the buzz? A new remake has just been announced. Deadline is reporting that Sleight director J.D. Dillard is in negotiations with 20th Century FOX to direct and co-write the script along with Alex Theurer who is behind 2017’s Stray. The duo has teamed up before, to pen the script for Sleight. At the moment that’s all we know. We assume that the film will stick to the same storyline as did the first two films. We will keep you updated.
