Bigfoot And Bunnies: An Interview With ‘Primal Rage’ And ‘Bunnyman’ Star Marshal Hilton

I sat down with award-winning actor Marshal Hilton to talk about both past projects like the Bunnyman franchise, and his roles in several soon to be released films including Primal Rage, Astro. Hilton also gave us an inside look at what it’s like to star in horror films, the good, the bad, and the gooey. Horror Fuel: “How did you get your start?” Marshal Hilton: “I wish it was some grand design to tell you about, but it isn’t. I was born in Long Beach, California and raised up thirty minutes north of Los Angeles. You’re never a headshot, a script, and a friend away from a role. I had that creative thing inside of me. I’ve been in and out of Hollywood since I was a kid. It’s something I continue to work at and do and the jobs just keep coming. I’ve probably worked on seventy or eighty films. I meet a lot of people who come here,

Movie Review: Curse of the Witch’s Doll is an Old School Atmospheric Horror Show!

The longer time I spend in the horror biz, the more I see some truly ground breaking, heartfelt, monster masterpieces. Let’s see if Curse of The Witch’s Doll (or as it’s sometimes known The Witch’s Doll…or, and this one happens to be my favorite due to it’s sublime creativity, Conjuring the Witch’s Doll) is one of those… Curse of The Witch’s Doll in war torn 1940’s Europe, a Adeline and daughter seek shelter in a house deep in the woods. Everything would be fine and dandy for the duo except a seemingly living doll inhabits the dwelling as well, and after Adeline’s daughter goes missing after a rousing game of hide n’ seek, it’s up to our heroine to break a centuries old witch’s curse, find her daughter, and put that evil six feet under! Comprised of a more subtle and dramatic story line than you would expect, Curse of The Witch’s Doll is a bit of a pleasant surprise.

Movie Review: Ghastlies Will Tickle Your Funny Bone…Then Break It!

Ghastlies begins in a way I’m sure we can all relate to…namely with a U.F.O dispensing toothy aliens that bite the shit out of a Satanic cult…real human condition stuff. Following that lil’ slice of gravitas we are introduced to four sorority sisters who head off to a secluded cabin in the woods where, as you may have surmised, they too are plagued (eventually…more on that in ye olde third paragraph) by those same menacin’ monsters from beyond the stars. Can our comely heroines survive this night of teeth, claws, and dodgy puppetry? Ghastlies is exactly what it sets out to be; a fun throwback to the Gremlins clones (Critters, Hobgoblins, Munchies, Ghoulies…especially with that satanic angle mentioned previous) your’s cruelly absolutely loved in his misspent youth…aw screw it, we all know I still love ’em! You get blood, boobs, practical low-rent (read: gloriously rad) puppets, and a ton of goofy fun. The whole affair is cartoony, surreal, and a

Guillermo Del Toro Accused Of Stealing The Plot For ‘The Shape Of Water’

There are rumors and accusations flying that Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water, the most nominated movie of 2018, is plagiarized. It’s a terrible accusation if it’s false, but if it’s true, it’s disgraceful. So here’s the situation… It all began with Reddit users pointing out the similarities between The Shape of Water and a 2015 student film from the Netherlands Film Acadamy titled The Space Between Us. Both plots center on a woman cleaning a research facility, both feature an aquatic man/love interest, both are love stories. The Space Between Us takes place in a post-nuclear era where the air has become so polluted that it’s lethal. In the film, a cleaning woman named Juliett falls for Adam, a captive merman. The film was written and directed by Marc S. Nollkaemper and stars Elsa May Averill, Adrian Brine, Jurandy Martien, and Kiefer Zwart as the creature, Adam. The Shape of Water is set in the 1950s in a research

Mothman In Chicago?!

Since February of last year, over 55 eyewitnesses in the city of Chicago have reported something strange flying in the sky and concluded that it’s the famous Mothman. Mothman is a cryptid resembling a tall man with large wings like that of a moth, its notable feature is its large red glowing eyes that resemble brake lights. The creature was first reported in 1966 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia and the sightings lasted until December 15, 1967, after the collapse of the Silver Bridge leaving many to believe that the Mothman was either a warning or harbinger of the incident that claimed 46 lives. The debate back then continues to this day, trying to figure out what exactly is the mothman, some say it’s a supernatural creature, others believe it’s an alien, and there have even been suggestions that it’s a failed experiment from WWII since most of the original sightings were around McClintic Wildlife Management Area or as the

Movie Review: A Creepy Cornucopia of Sinister Shorts!

In a remote snowed in cabin, a family lives in turmoil. The patriarch of the clan is an alcoholic abusive sumbitch, his wife has been cowed into quivering complacency, and his son…well beside being a human punching bag, is seriously infatuated with lions. In a night packed fat with violent news broadcasts and cheap beer, our antagonist is visited by an impossible (an impossibly violent) four legged visitor that proceeds to set right that which is wrong. At twelve minutes (well ten minutes plus credits); Lion is a tight lil’ fright flick, with a very unique spin on the ‘tormented child calls upon seemingly supernatural revenge’ trope. Well shot and acted, with strong visual effects for the titular beast, and a great sense of taut violence waiting to explode at a moments notice the film packs a real punch. The only negative I had with this was the usage of some ultra-dodgy CG to realize the exterior shots of the

Special 200th Anniversary Edition Of ‘Frankenstein’ Novel

It is no secret that my favorite monster is the one built by Dr. Frankenstein. A few days ago, this icon turned 200 years old! Mary Shelly dreamed him into life and his story has seen many forms and incarnations, but none as good or profound or heart-wrenching as the original black and white print in the book. To celebrate his bicentennial birthday, Frankenstein gets re-released in a special 200th Anniversary Edition. “The 256-page hardcover book features an 8-page vellum insert detailing the doctor’s designs, and a stunning, full bleed, double gatefold image of the monster. Finished with printed endpapers and painted book block, this masterpiece volume is perfect for book lovers and art lovers alike. The suspense and horror of Dr. Frankenstein reanimating assembled body parts, the monster spying on an unknowing family, and the creature’s revenge on his maker take on whole new meaning when accompanied by Plunkert’s mystical, layered interpretations.” This extremely special collector’s item will be
