The thought of being afraid for enjoyment sounds absurd to folks who aren’t aficionados of horror. Any long-time horror lover, on the other hand, is well aware of how addicting the sensation is. The horror film genre has grown in popularity throughout the years, as has the worldwide demography of horror enthusiasts. How Werewolves Have Moved From Horror Movies To Music And Slots

Werewolves are among the most enduring horror movie characters, but they’ve gone mainstream in recent years, popping up in numerous ways and places. Have these shape-shifting creatures lost their ability to scare us by appearing in so many movies, games, and even songs? Source: Pixabay Werewolves in Games Many games have werewolves in them, from Blood the Werewolf, released by Scientifically Proven in 2013, to Werewolf Within, and several of the Castlevania titles. Not all of these games present the wolf-like creatures as being scary, but they do give them special powers, such as extra speed and power, making them extremely hard to defeat. We can also see werewolves feature in online slots, making these creatures available to a wide audience of gamblers. Titles include Curse of the Werewolves Megaways by Pragmatic Play, which is available on the Paddy Power site. One Of The Best Horror Films Of The Year, 'The Cursed', Is Now Out On VOD

Movie Review: ‘The Cursed’ Is A Fresh And Frightening Werewolf Tale

From writer-director Sean Ellis comes the Gothic werewolf horror film The Cursed (aka Eight For Silver). When the trailer debuted it automatically went on my “must-see” list. The trailer looked fantastic, but because we get so few great werewolf films these days I was expecting to be somewhat disappointed. I’m here to tell you, it exceeded my every expectation. The film begins with soldiers in the trenches in 1917, being pelted by gas, grenades, and gunfire. We see a soldier being carried into a tent, wounded with three gunshots. The next scene jumps thirty-five years in the past. A group of gypsies is slaughtered by men out to take their land. Before the last is killed, an old woman utters a curse as she’s buried alive. Soon, everyone in the village begins to have terrible dreams of the slaughter. When a group of children ventures to the spot of the killings occurred, they discover a set of silver teeth. A
