The New ‘Grudge’ Movie Is Neither A Sequel Or A Remake

The new installment of The Grudge franchise is on its way from Sam Raimi’s Ghost House. In a surprising twist, director and co-writer Nicolas Pesce confirmed during an interview with Blood-Disgusting that the movie, simply titled The Grudge, is neither a sequel or remake, but instead takes place at the same time as the 2004 movie starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. This movie takes place at the exact same time that the Sarah Michelle Gellar Grudge takes place,” Pesce stated. So Sarah Michelle Gellar is doing her thing in Japan, and this is what’s happening in America at that same time.” he continued. “So for people who know the old movies, American and Japanese, super well, they’ll see fun ways that we’ve connected it into the mythology and into the story and storylines that existed, while still making a totally separate story that, for all the people who haven’t seen the Grudge movies, this will still make sense to them,” Starring

Bruce Campbell Says We Haven’t Seen The Last Of ‘Evil Dead’ Universe

Last year we talked with Bruce Campbell (interview) about life after retiring his character Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise. Recently, that seems to have changed. Campbell was recently out promoting his upcoming hosting duties for “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not” and teased that the Evil Dead universe is far from over. They’re going to see different versions, they’re going to be seeing more ‘Evil Dead,’ too. We’re not done with the ‘Evil Dead’ saga, more stories to tell.” The question is, what does he mean? Will we see Pablo and Kelly from “Ash vs Evil Dead” in a spin-off? Will we get another installment from the Jane Levy remake? This isn’t the first time a sequel to the 2013 remake has mentioned. I’ll be honest, I’d love to see either. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. In the 2013 remake was written and directed by Fede Alvarez. Sam Raimi, who directed the original, produced the

Bruce Campbell Talks Life After Ash And Much More In An Interview

Bruce Campbell, that’s a name every horror fan knows. The writer/actor/director/producer has been involved in so many iconic films and series. One of the jewels in his crown is The Evil Dead franchise in which he plays the unforgettable character Ashley “Ash” Williams. His “Ash vs Evil Dead” series premiered back in 2015 on Starz, giving us three seasons of Ash, along with his deadite fighting sidekicks Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) as well as the sometimes evil Ruby (Lucy Lawless). Fans were heartbroken to learn earlier this year that “Ash vs Evil Dead” wouldn’t return for a fourth season. Soon Bruce announced that Ash had been permanently retired, leaving fans to wonder what was next for the one-of-a-kind, suave, badass. When I had the opportunity to talk with Bruce I jumped at the chance (and with excitement) to find out what is next for our favorite leading man and ask a few questions that I’ve always wanted
