Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: Neve Campbell

Welcome back my Little Monsters. If it’s Wednesday, you all know it’s time to show a little love to one of our wonderful Women of Horror. This week’s lovely and talented lady, Neve Campbell, is a twofold scream queen…I shouldn’t have to explain what that means. Neve is a product of our neighbors to the north, having been born in Guelph, Ontario. One could say that the desire to perform was in her blood from the start. Her father was a high school drama teacher and her grandparents on both sides were involved in the theater. Neve’s first love was dance, and after seeing a performance of The Nutcracker at the age of six, she enrolled at Erinvale School of Dance to pursue her love of ballet. She would eventually study at the National Ballet School of Canada, where she would perform in Sleeping Beauty and the ballet that initially got her hooked, The Nutcracker. Unfortunately, Neve endured numerous injuries

AMC Adapting Joe Hill’s ‘NOS4R2’ For A TV Series

Stephen King adaptions are everywhere these days (not that we’re complaining). King’s son, Joe Hill, has inherited his father’s talent. AMC has noticed and has put into development a TV series based on Hill’s third novel, NOS4A2 (Nosferatu). The New York Times bestseller, a supernatural thriller, centers on Victoria McQueen, a woman with a gift for finding things. She sets out on a mission to find a superhuman kidnapper and rescue his victims. According to The Wrap, AMC has begun a writers’ room for the series, part of AMC’s script-to-series model that appoints a group of writers to produce a “season bible” and write multiple episodes. After those are complete the network will decide if it wants to go ahead with the show. Jami O’Brien will serve as executive producer for the series which is a co-production of AMC Studios and Tornate.

Her father worked for an international insurance corporation, so his career path took them all around the world. As P.J. was growing up, P.J. and her family lived in Morocco, Venezuela and Brussels, where she attended high school at the International School of Brussels. After high school, she attended Briarcliff College in Briarcliff Manor, NY, where she had aspirations of becoming the very first woman ambassador to the Soviet Union. However, after visiting
