Movie Review: Don’t Tell A Soul Is A Thrilling, Clever Film About Family

Alex McAulay (Flower) makes his directorial debut with the film that centers on two brothers (Fionn Whitehead, Jack Dylan Grazer) who are struggling with life. Their father has passed away and their mother (Mena Suvari) is gravely ill. When the brothers break into a home and steal a large sum of money they think it will make their lives easier but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Moments after leaving the house they are spotted by a security guard (Rainn Wilson) who gives chase. When the man falls into a hidden well the brothers have a choice to make, but they both have their own ideas about what to do with him. The main focus of the film is relationships between family members and the young man’s budding relationship with the stranger in the hole. Like most siblings, there is a complex relationship between the brothers. The eldest brother, Matt (Whitehead) is a domineering, abusive boy who uses his

When it comes to action-packed films John Wick is at the top of the list. The writer behind the pulse-pounding franchise, Derek Kolstad, is now gearing up to bring us another film that will keep us on the edge of our seats, the live-action film adaptation of the Japanese action-horror manga Hellsing for Amazon Studios, Deadline reports. Ever since my brother introduced me to the Hellsing manga and anime some years ago, I’ve been obsessed with adapting it,” Kolstad said in a statement. “Hellsing reimagines Dracula as Alucard, a special agent bound to The Hellsing Organization, under the leadership of Integra Hellsing, great-granddaughter of Abraham Van Hellsing, to aid them in their mission to protect England and the world from vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural threats. The manga also focuses on Hellsing’s newest recruit, a female ex-police officer named Seras Victoria.” I’ve always loved the vampire genre, especially when a creator is able to put their own unique spin on

Blu-ray Review: Grizzly II: Revenge (2021… sort of… 1983… kinda)

Remember the 1976 “nature-run-amok” thriller Grizzly? Sure you (probably don’t) do?!! Well great news, a sequel was “sorta” made in 1983, and it features mother fuckin’ George Clooney, Charlie Sheen, Laura Dern, and genre mainstays Louise Fletcher, Deborah Foreman, and John Rhys-Davies (to varying degrees)! Yeah, at this point if you told me Brando played the bear I’d probably be inclined to believe you… Anyway, Grizzly II: Revenge… what’s it about? Glad you didn’t ask! After poachers start offing grizzlies in a national park, a giant-ass bear decides to go ape-shit right at the same time a huge forest-based rock concert (which I refuse to believe are a fucking thing) is set to take place and bring in some much needed revenue for the park. Of course that concert isn’t about to be cancelled due to Yogi puttin’ a murder on everyone thanks to greedy-ass Eileene Draygon (Fletcher) calling the shots. So it falls on the manly shoulders of park
