Post-Apocalyptic Thriller ‘Stronghold’ Scores An August Release

Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, has just announced the release date for the indie, post-apocalyptic thriller Stronghold, written and directed by Julia Camara. Stronghold is a dystopian tale of resilience in which a young survivalist and her mother live isolated entirely in the woods. When a distressed stranger appears, their lives and future are threatened. The film stars Bianca A. Santos (The Fosters, Legacies, Ouija, Priceless, The Duff), Jaqueline Fleming (Don’t Look Back, Red, Atone) as the familial pair in peril, and Oliver Rayón (Room for Rent, The Chosen, Doc Holliday’s Revenge) as the stranger who threatens the isolated duo. Ted Raimi Leads One-Shot Psychological Thriller ‘Failure!’ (Trailer)

Ted Raimi stars in the psychological thriller Failure!, set to make its World Premiere at FrightFest on August 28th. Along with the news comes the first teaser trailer and poster. Failure! “follows business tycoon James (Raimi – The Quarry, Ash v Evil Dead, Creepshow), a loving family man who has a crushing bank debt which he must resolve within an hour or lose his business. A Murder Mystery: Trailer For Animated Thriller ‘Inspector Sun And The Curse Of The Black Widow’

A murder mystery unfolds in Viva’s animated feature Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow, opening in theaters this October. With shades of Murder on the Orient Express, the animated mystery features the voice of Ronny Chieng (M3gan, Crazy Rich Asians) as the titular inspector. The film follows a spider detective who boards a seaplane to San Francisco when a murder on his flight draws him into a plot that threatens both the human and bug worlds. The cast also includes Andrea Villaverde as Janey, Catherina Martinez as Arabella, Txema Moscoso as Sr. Escarabeo, Fernando Cabrera as Skeleton, Pedro Tena as Langosta, Ana Jiménez as Reina, and Vicente Gil voices Bugsy.
