Psychological Thriller ‘Cordelia’ Acquired By Screen Media

Screen Media, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment company, announced today the acquisition of all North American rights to the psychological thriller Cordelia from Great Point Media. In Cordelia (Antonia Campbell-Hughes), a young woman living in London with her twin sister meets her mysteriously alluring neighbor Frank (Johnny Flynn) for the first time but quickly becomes suspicious of his true motives. With her sister out of town for the weekend, the anxious Cordelia is all alone and consumed by her many fears. She begins to unravel and sink back into past traumas the more Frank tries to charm his way into her life. Pulp Fiction Stars Reunite For New Thriller ‘The Kill Room’

Pulp Fiction stars Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson, reunite for the “darkly comic” thriller The Kill Room, from director Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving) and writer Jonathan Jacobson, THR has announced. “The story follows a hitman, his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and a money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight, avant-garde, sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld.” “Getting to make The Kill Room — an already incredible script — with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Movie Review: Shark Thriller ‘The Requin’ Bites

When I sat down to watch director Le-Van Kiet’s shark movie The Requin I was banking that it would be a decent movie, after all, it stars Alicia Silverstone and James Tupper. Well, let’s just say I was more than disappointed. In the movie, “There’s terror in paradise when Jaelyn (Alicia Silverstone) and Kyle (James Tupper) arrive at a remote seaside villa in Vietnam for a romantic getaway. A torrential storm descends, reducing the villa to little more than a raft and sweeping the couple out to sea. Suddenly, another danger appears a school of great white sharks. With her injured husband watching helplessly, Jaelyn must battle the deadly predators alone in this tense thriller that rides an unrelenting wave of fear.” First off, the dialogue is awful.
