Two Evil Eyes is an arcane anthology divided into two halves (it’s all there in the title folks), both directed by legendary horror directors (George A. Romero and Dario Argento for those keepin’ score at home) and based on the writing of Edgar Allan Poe (The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar and The Black Cat respectively). Let’s kick out the jams with Romero’s joint, shall we? Jessica Valdemar (Adrienne Barbeau) is what one would call “a reluctant shit-heel”; sure she’s conspiring with Dr. Robert Hoffman (Ramy Zada) to bilk her dying husband, Ernest (Bingo O’Malley) out of his vast fortune via hypnosis… but she doesn’t feel great about it, until the dough begins to be well in hand that is. Celebrate Halloween Early With ’10/31 Part II’ (Trailer)

The sequel to last year’s hit indie horror anthology, 10/31, is on its way and we’ve got not only the new poster for 10/31 Part II but the new trailer as well. 10/31 Part II taps the best from the indie film world and brings them all together to make one terrifying Halloween-themed film starring Jennifer Nangle, Anastasia Elfman, David E. McMahon, Tim Robinson, Rhema Srihartiti, and London Grace. The directors of the five segments include Drew Marvick, Tory Van Buskirk, Stephen Wolfe, Max Groah, and Jennifer Nangle. As a huge fan of horror growing up, especially anthologies like Creepshow and Tales From the Crypt, I was thrilled to be able to work with a group of such talented writers, directors and actors to make our own anthology film come to life”, says producer Rocky Gray. 10/31 Part II lands on Demand and Digital on August 13, 2021, from Terror Films.

Shudder Announces Cast For ‘Horror Noire’ Anthology

Shudder has announced some of the cast for their new upcoming horror anthology Horror Noire, based on both the book and documentary series of the same name and will feature some of the best names as well as emerging talent from black entertainment. Comprised of six tales, titled Daddy, Bride Before You, Brand of Evil, The Lake, Sundown, and Fugue State, the two-hour event will debut on Shudder this October, Deadline reports. Some of the talent involved includes Tony Todd, Brandon Mychal Smith, Peter Stormare, Sean Patrick Thomas, Malcolm Barrett, Lavell Crawford, Rachel True, Tone Bell, Nathaniel Logan McIntyre, and Lenora Crichlow. The scripts for the project were written by Victor LaValle (Daddy), Al Letson (Sundown), Ezra C. Daniels (Brand of Evil), Shernold Edwards (Bride Before You), Barnes and Due (Fugue State), and Steven Barnes and Tananarive Due (The Lake). Dr. Robin R. Vernon Wells & Felissa Rose Star In The Horror Anthology ‘Lilith’ (Trailer)

Genre icons Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior, Commando), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Return to Sleepaway Camp) star in the supernatural horror anthology Lilith, directed by Alex T. Hwang (Paranormal Attraction). The film follows Lilith, who punishes men for their indiscretions against women. A figure in Jewish mythology developed earliest in the Babylonian Talmud between the 3rd and 5th centuries, Lilith is a dangerous demon of the night seeking her revenge. The anthology features three tales of terror including the ghost of an 80’s fitness guru, a tattoo that won’t stop spreading, and an Uber driver that picks up her final customer for the night, not knowing that she’s in for the ride of her life. Horror Icons Gather For Horror Anthology ‘Death Breed’ Arriving Just In Time For Halloween (Trailer)

This Halloween, Bayview Entertainment will unleash Ben and Stacey Dixon‘s horror anthology Death Breed featuring three tales of terror starring some of horror’s biggest icons. And we’ve got the first trailer. The first tale called “Wolfsbayne”, stars Lloyd Kaufman, (The Toxic Avenger) and owner of Troma Films, Linnea Quigly (Night of the Demons, The Return of the Living Dead, etc.), Debbie Rochon, Jim O’Rear, and more. The second tale, “Shudder” features several of the cast members from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre including Gunnar Hansen (Leatherface), Edwin Neal (Hitchhiker} and John Dugan (Grandpa). Tubi Review: Twisted Fiction (2020)

Every once in a while, yours cruelly squeezes in a request or two, and this revotin’ review stated out as just that as I was contacted by one of the producers of the new Tubi show, Twisted Fiction and asked to slap my eerie eyeballs on it for the sake of gettin’ my two cent take on things! So what is Twisted Fiction? Well, think of it as a bit of E.C. comics by way of the grit and pulp sensibilities of a true crime rag, and if that doesn’t grab ya by the short n’ curlies I don’t know what will! Over the course of the two available episodes, The Troll and Sole Motel by name, we are treated to murder, monsters, and more (it’s like Bed, Bath, and Beyond, just with 100% additional… well… death n’ stuff… ). New Amazon Anthology Series “Unknown” Combines Horror & True Crime

Horror anthologies are big right now with several movies and series being released this year.
