Real Life Australian Cannibal Getting Her Own Movie

Today, we have news that might excite our readers that are into true crime. Odds are you may have heard about Austrailian killer Katherine Knight, but if you haven’t you’re about to get a lesson about the Australian killer in the form of a feature film from filmmakers Dane Millerd and Ross Murray based on the book Blood Stain by journalist Peter Lalor, Dread Central is reporting. Not only did the 60-year-old woman, who on all counts appeared normal to the outside world, murder her husband John, but she also chopped him up and tried to serve him for dinner to her stepchildren. When police arrived at the home to investigate a report of a disturbance they discovered John’s decapitated body, his skin drying in another room and his head bobbing in a pot of stew on the stove. Movie Review: Evolution of Evil (2017)

After a truly impressive opening of a car winding through secluded mountain roads viewed from above (think Kubrick, but doubtless shot utilizing a drone for a mere fraction of the cost of a helicopter…but damn does it look great), the story proper of Evolution of Evil gets underway; to wit: a young couple (maybe they are just friends…damned if I could tell), named Christopher and Lori for those of you keeping score at home, treks out to the middle of nowhere to get away from it all, and everything is artisanal beer and bratwurst until the silence of the night is split by distant gunshots. Well the following morning things go from pleasant to poopy as Chris is abducted (I know, right?!!) by some seriously fucked up woodsmen and subjected to all manner of rape and abuse (again, right?!!). Movie Review: Eaten Alive is an Orgy of Cannibals and Cults!

Oh man, things are tough all over for Sheila…her sis has gone and got herself mixed up (courtesy of those lovely ol’ drugs and brainwashing) in a religious cult holed up in a commune in the jungles of New Guinea (totally not Jonestown) led by the enigmatic Jonas (real subtle flick…real subtle). As if the whole evil cult wasn’t bad enough, the surrounding area is home to some carnivorous cannibals (are there any other kind really?) who want to make a meal out of Sheila-baby, the cultists…pretty much anyone they can sink their terrible teeth into. Soon Shelia, along with her hard-ass mercenary pal Mark, infiltrate the cult and then attempt to escape with their lives and asses intact! William Seabrook: Zombies, Cannibalism, Tormented Mind

While researching for a previous article, I came across an interesting fellow named William Seabrook. Seabrook’s occupation was as a Writer and Reporter but the rest of his credentials are Occultist, Explorer, Traveler, Cannibal, and Journalist. I understand if like me after reading that, you heard a record scratch and are currently looking back to make sure you read that right. Yes, casually tucked in among his other titles is Cannibal. What makes that more ironic or fascinating is that Seabrook is credited as one of the first authors to introduce zombies to western culture, not the kind we know today but the actual zombies of Haitian origins steeped deep in Voodoo lore. More Hannibal? Don’t Hold Your Breath

More Hannibal? Who wants it? I know that I do. Yes, season 3 ended in a fairly satisfying way, but movieplot.com just released an interview with Hugh Dancy who plays Will Graham in the ground breaking series and basically, don’t get your hopes up for new episodes any time soon. “My feeling is that, knock on wood, if it came around again, it wouldn’t be a bad thing for it to be four or five years later. That might actually be kind of interesting. How weird would that be, on a personal level, to find yourself back with those people? ‘So… where did we leave off?’” So, if Dancy gets his way, we can look forward to new episodes in about 2020…not the news I was hoping for. Twenty-five years ago, Jeffery Dahmer became a household name after he committed a series of brutal murders. His legacy of evil still lingers today. Before he became a serial killer, he was a relatively normal child and teenager. At his school, Revere High School in Ohio, Dahmer had friends, and did the things most teenagers do. An Upcoming Film Will Tell The True Story Of The Cannibal Killer Kathrine Knight

A new true-crime film from Shoreline Entertainment is currently in development about Katherine Knight, known as Australia’s worst female killer. The film is an adaption of the book Blood Stain, about Knight’s crime, by journalist and author Peter Lalor. She may not look like your average killer, but looks can be deceiving. On February 30, 2000 Kathrine Knight made headlines around the world. Knight murdered her boyfriend of 5 years, John Price, by stabbing him 37 times, but that’s not the worst of it. After he died, she hung his body on a hook. She then made a skin “suit” from his flesh, and cut-off his head. The disturbing event still does not end there. When police found the scene, they found Price’s head bobbing in a cooking pot on the stove with potatoes, gravy and vegetables. A review of Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno

Before I go into how much I love The Green Inferno, let me start by saying the first 20 – 30 minutes wasn’t great, mainly because our main character Justine (Lorenza Izzo) has an atrocious roommate Kaycee (Sky Ferreira), whose 1990’s grunge, forced, hipster dialogue was one of the most horrific things in this film. I realize that the films director, Eli Roth, was going for with this, but it is either some of the worst acting I have ever seen or the best, Ferreira deserves an Oscar! I have seen this film 3 times and still can not decide what side of the fence I am on. Now that the worst part of the film is out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff! I personally believe this is Roth’s best film! Shooting 4k (digital) along with the films soundtrack really helps bring the jungle to life and ultimately the fear that our characters feel. BREAKING NEWS! Eli Roth’s ‘The Green Inferno’ Has A New Release Date!!

The release of Eli Roth’s ‘The Green Inferno’ was put on hold back in August, much to the dismay of fans. Since then, we have all been waiting patiently for the movie’s new release date to be announced. Roth has just announced via social media, that the problems have been worked out and that ‘The Green Inferno’ will be premiering on September 25, 2015! That’s right, it’s finally coming, courtesy of Blumhouse Productions. Back in August Roth had this to say about the delay: “As of right now, all systems are go for the theatrical release,” Roth revealed to Indiewire. “Here’s the thing: everyone is working to resolve it. Open Road has been amazing through this entire process. I really love them, they’ve been great.
