Blu-ray Review: An American Werewolf in London (1981)

I’m not even going to fuck around; An American Werewolf in London is one of the finest horror pictures ever made. Doubtless, no one reading these wicked words would need any convincing to agree… but for the one person out there that may be unfamiliar with this fright flick, I’m gonna kick of this revoltin’ review of Arrow Video’s new Blu-ray release of this beast of a film with a sinister synopsis (I mean I always do that but what-fucking-ever). Two American friends, let’s call them David and Jack… because that’s what their character’s names are… anyway these two dudes (played by David Naughton and Griffin Dunn respectively) are on one of those European backpacking trips that the kids of today are just so gosh darn fucking fond of. After getting the bums rush at the local watering hole, our heroes set off into the night, and get attacked by a savage werewolf (you can bet that nugget should be

Enter: Paw (Victor Hollingsworth) who finds Sylvia and brings her to his farm. Being such an upstanding she helps with the chores in return for the favor as well as helping Paw’s son Caleb (William Ryan Watson) get his rocks off… hell she even tries puttin’ the moves on Paw! , The Dooms Chapel Horror). Since she has no place else to go Paw offers her a place at the farm. She’s soon helping with the chores and joining Caleb in the hayloft. And seducing Paw just for good measure. As you can tell, ol’ Syl ain’t exactly what she appears to be, and when the brother of one of the shitheels mentioned in paragraph uno makes the scene the shit really

Simon Pegg And Nick Frost Making New Horror Comedy Series For Amazon

News first came back in 2018 that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, the dynamic duo behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, were working on a horror-comedy series titled “Truth Seekers“. Things have been quiet since, until now. The ghost hunting series has now found a home at Amazon and is set to begin filming this month. The series will feature half-hour long episodes that takes viewers to haunted churches, abandoned hospitals, and other spooky places. As the series goes along things get spookier and the guys discover a conspiracy that could put the entire human race in danger. Of course there will plenty of laughs along the way. Hopefully, it won’t be long until a premiere date is announced, and when it is you’ll be the first to know.

Blu-ray Review: the VelociPastor (2018)

After losing his parents in a car explosion (represented by text that an effect should be present, but isn’t), a priest named Doug (Gregory James Cohan) travels to China (via car), where he gets poked by a talon held by a dying woman. Once home, out hero begins turning into a dinosaur, and avenges his parent’s death… and because there is literally fifty minutes left to go after that, he teams up with a hooker named Carol (Alyssa Kempinski) and fights a ninja crime syndicate. Based on true events. Look, I’m not gonna beat around the bush, or any other part of the female anatomy… I absolutely loved the ever-lovin’ fuck out of VelociPastor. Writer/Director Brendan Steere has delivered an intentionally campy, over-the-top love letter to grindhouse cinema with all of the gore and insanity you’d expect, and then some… but what may catch you cats n’ creeps by sinister surprise is that Steere delivers some gorgeous shots among the

Movie Review: Hellarious (2019)

Here it comes boils n’ ghouls; the latest arcane anthology to come a stormin’ into our beloved horror biz; Hellarious! Let’s see what this fright flick has to offer us horror hounds, shall we? Well I can tell you one thing it doesn’t offer, and that’s a wrap-around segment… Chapter One weaves the yarn of a small gaggle of grocery store employees closing up shop for the night. After leaving her charges in order to use the ter-let, the store manager returns to find some of her peers stark raving bonkers after enduring some unknown trauma or another… and trust me, when revealed the answer is as satisfyingly ludicrous as one could expect Comprised of a fun script (well acted) that takes the piss out of creature features, while presenting a unique twist on the genre as well, our first story sets the bar very high for the rest of the terror tales in this thing… Chapter Two brings us

'Satanic Panic' Star Hayley Griffith Takes Us Inside The Hilarious Horror-Comedy

‘Satanic Panic’ Star Hayley Griffith Takes Us Inside The Hilarious Horror-Comedy

I sat down with delightful actress Hayley Griffith, star of the hilarious new horror comedy Satanic Panic. Hayley filled me in on how some scenes were shot and how hard it was to make the movie while trying to keep a straight face. You see, Satanic Panic is a hilarious, gore-filled flick that is a ton of fun. Hayley, who has also had roles in “The Mysteries of Laura” and “Law & Order SVU,” stars as Sam Craft, a young woman working her first night as a pizza delivery person. After a series of cheapskates, she is sent to a rich neighborhood. When she gets stiffed again, she goes to talk with the customer only to find herself in the middle of a satanic ritual, and she happens to be the virgin they need for the sacrifice. Horror Fuel: “Let me say, I really enjoyed Satanic Panic. It’s a fun flick. It got a five-star review from us.” Hayley Griffith:

DVD Review: Dead Ant (2017)

’80s hair metal band Sonic Grave are trying to get back in the game in the current age , and they are on the road to a hip music festival where they hope to attract new fans at the behest of their manager Danny (Tom Arnold). Along the way, bassist Art (Sean Astin) makes a pit stop for some legendary power-packed peyote… a drug that comes with a curse attached; if anything on the sacred land is harmed while on the drug a horrible fate will befall those responsible. I forgot to mention; Art isn’t the brightest dude out there, and neither are his band mates Merrick (Jake Busey), Stevie (Leisha Hailey), and Pager (Rhys Coiro) for that matter, and soon a talking ant is pissed on and a deadly evil is released which results in our heroes getting their creature-feature cherries popped by Hymenoptera from hell! Holy fuckin’ cats, Dead Ant is a rollickin’ good time in our beloved
