George Romero’s Lost Film ‘The Amusement Park’ To Be released By Yellow Veil

Yellow Veil Pictures have now acquired the worldwide sales rights for The Amusement Park, the formerly lost film from iconic filmmaker George A. Romero. Recently discovered and restored 46 years after its completion by the George A. Romero Foundation and produced by Suzanne Romero, it was restored in 4k by IndieCollect in New York. The Amusement Park “is an alluring snapshot of the filmmaker’s early artistic capacity and style, and would go on to inform his ensuing filmography. The film was originally commissioned by the Lutheran Society to raise awareness about ageism and elder abuse. Romero, however, conceived of what was perhaps his wildest, most imaginative movie, an allegory about the nightmarish realities of growing older. The film stars Lincoln Maazel as an elderly man who finds himself disoriented and increasingly isolated as the pains, tragedies, and humiliations of aging in America manifested through roller coasters and chaotic crowds. Yellow Veil Pictures Co-Founder Justin Timms said “We couldn’t be more

Movie Review: ‘Two Heads Creek’ Is Horror Comedy Done Right

When I sat down to watch writer-director Jesse O’Brien’s Two Heads Creek I didn’t know what to really expect. The sad truth is that horror-comedies rarely live up to expectations or their PR campaigns. However, Two Heads Creek is a rare exception. The UK/Aussie film is about a brother and sister who discover that they were adopted after their mother’s death. It was no surprise that they set out to find the mother who gave them up. What they don’t know is how just how twisted their family really is. Two Heads Creek is a mix of blood-drenched action and dark humor. It’s wickedly funny and delightfully demented. This fun flick is a bit campy from beginning to end but in the best possible way! Looking for blood and gore? Two Heads Creek has it, my god does it ever! Jordan Waller and Kathryn Wilder star as the siblings who head to a tiny outback town looking for dear old
