Werewolf Flick ‘Bonehill Road’ Bares Its Fangs On Digital This Week

Legendary underground filmmaker Todd Sheets (Grindsploitation) is making his return to independent horror in a big way, with the werewolf film Bonehill Road, which promises to be a howlin’ good time (review). In the film, a mother and daughter escaping an abusive relationship run into something even more sinister on Bonehill Road. Bonehill Road will pay homage to classic werewolf films like The Howling and An American Werewolf in London. It will have an 80’s feel and don’t worry, this film will not be one of those PG-13 flicks. It is a horror film for real horror fans and brings back those blood-thirsty beasts we love. Linnea Quigley (Return of the Living Dead), Gary Kent, Millie Milan, Dilynn Fawn Harvey, Eli DeGeer, Douglas Epps, Ana Plumberg, and Aaron Brazier star in Bonehill Road. This hair-raising film bares its teeth on digital this week from Wild Eye Releasing. Follow the film on Facebook for screenings, updates and more.

Movie Review: Bonehill Road is a Howlin’ Good Creature Feature!

Bonehill Road tells the story of Emily and Eden, a mother/step-daughter duo who hit the road after Emily’s go-go gorilla of a husband goes blood simple and starts whippin’ Emily-ass six ways to Sunday (which I’m 100% positive he would blame on her being clumsy and accidentally walking into his fist six to seven hundred times). As our heroines do their Thelma and Louise they perform the one act that all victims of nerve shattering domestic abuse always seem to do; they nearly run down a werewolf in their economy sedan. Since said werewolf has the same personality as Emil’s hubby, he goes completely berserk, gathers up his puppy posse, and attempts to use the duo as chew toys, but they escape and find themselves at a house in the middle of nowhere…which is occupied by a complete psycho who just so happens to be a cannibal…for F’s sake can these ladies ever catch a break? With a madman inside,

Scream Queen Linnea Quigley Is Taking A Walk Down BONEHILL ROAD

Director Todd Sheets is making his return to independent horror in a big way, with the werewolf film Bonehill Road. Today, Sheets announced that Scream Queen Linnea Quigley has joined the cast. Quigley has appeared in over 140 films including The Barn, Night of the Demons, Horrorvision, Phantoms, Pumpkinhead II, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, and Silent Night, Deadly Night. But most genre fans remember her best as “Trash” (the stripping red head) from The Return of the Living Dead. I am simply overwhelmed that Linneas has decided to join us on Bonehill Road. I have known her for many years and we have always hoped to do a film together. It looks like that is finally going to happen.” Sheets told us. “My mentor is David Decoteau. He gave me my start, and believed in a crazy kid in Missouri when no one else would give me the chance. He also worked with Linnea several times early in

Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: Linnea Quigley

It’s often said that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. But there just happens to be one woman who is trash and treasure all in one, and her name is Linnea Quigley. Now when I speak of her as “Trash“, my Little Monsters, I am obviously speaking of her iconic character from the 1985 classic, Return of the Living Dead. In the late 70’s, after graduating from high school in Davenport, IA, Linea and her family relocated to Los Angeles. She began working at a health spa owned by Jack Lalane...yes, the Jack Lalane from the juicer infomercials who swam while handcuffed and shackled and also towing 70 rowboats behind him at the age of 70. But this is about Linea, so let’s not get side tracked… like I just did. Anyways, while working at this spa, Linnea met models who were employed as extras on films. Friends began suggesting to Linnea that she should try acting, and luckily
