Plot Uncovered For Second Season Of Netflix’s Fantastic Serial Killer Series ‘Mindhunter’

Netflix’s ‘Mindhunter‘ is one of the best series they have created to date. Fans of the series, inspired by real serial killers, will be thrilled to learn that the show will be taking a stab at a second season. Wait, there’s more. When the show’s director-producer David Fincher talked with Billboard recently about the show’s soundtrack and he revealed a bit of the plot of season 2. Next year we’re looking at the Atlanta child murders, so we’ll have a lot more African-American music which will be nice,” Fincher stated. “The music will evolve. Meet A Serial Killer In The New Trailer For ‘Mindhunter’ – Coming To Netflix

David Fincher, the brilliant mind behind films like Fight Club, Alien 3, and Se7en, is ready to deliver his next project with streaming giant Netflix titled Mindhunter. A new trailer for the serial killer series has just been released. Written by Joe Penhall and Scott Buck, Mindhunter is based on the 1996 book ”Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit’, by John Douglas, a former special agent, with Mark Olshaker. The book takes a look at some of Douglas’ most high-profile cases, including the Atlanta child Killings, the Green River Killer, and the serial killer who slaughtered prostitutes in Alaska. Starring Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallanay, Anna Torv, and Hannah Gross, Mindhunter is set in 1979 and centers on the inquisitive and skilled FBI Agent Bill Tench (McCallany). Three Cast Members Join Netflix’s Series Adaption Of ‘The Haunting Of Hill House’

Three new cast members for Netflix’s series re-imagining of Shirley Jackson’s 1959 novel ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ have been announced. Henry Thomas and Elizabeth Reaser are reuniting with director Mike Flanagan, who they worked with on the set of Ouija: Origin of Evil, and have been cast alongside Kate Siegel, the actress who played the lead in Flanagan’s invasion thriller Hush. The three join the cast that already includes Carla Gugino and Michel Huisman. Directed by Flanagan, the 10-episode series is from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin TV and Paramount TV. The novel has already been adapted for film twice , once in 1963 and again in 1999. Both films were titled The Haunting. New ‘Charmed’ Series Casting A Spell On Netflix

One of the most popular TV series in the genre from 1998-2006 was the bewitching tale of three sisters, all witches. If you guessed that I’m talking about Charmed, you’d be right. Since 2013, there has been talk of a remake of the show, but with little mention of it the news it had been forgotten by most, until now. Now, InTouch Magazine has reported that there is indeed a new life for the hit series in the future from Netflix. The great news is, three original cast members are interested in returning, Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano, and Holly Marie Combs. At this time there has been no word if Rose McGowan will be reprising her role as Paige. They’re in talks for a reboot. They are hoping the show gets a second life on Netflix. Netflix Releases Full Trailer For Upcoming ‘DEATH NOTE’ Film

Today, Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for Adam Wingard‘s highly-anticipated adaptation of the beloved Japanese manga, ‘Death Note‘. Premiering on the Netflix streaming service on August 25, 2017, the ghoulish cat-and-mouse tale will star Nat Wolff, Margaret Qualley, Keith Stanfield, Shea Whigham, Paul Nakauchi, and Willem Dafoe as the wise-cracking death god, “Ryuk”. ‘Death Note’ follows Light Turner, a bright student who stumbles across a mystical notebook that has the power to kill any person whose name he writes in it. Light decides to launch a secret crusade to rid the streets of criminals. Soon, the student-turned-vigilante finds himself pursued by a famous detective known only as “L”. ‘Death Note’ is produced by Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Masi Oka and Jason Hoffs. Netflix Announces Forest Whitaker Joining Theo James In ‘How It Ends’

Netflix has announced that Forest Whitaker has signed on to co-star alongside Theo James (Underworld: Awakening), David M. Rosenthal (Jacob’s Ladder remake) in the post-apocalyptic thriller How It Ends, THR reports. Beginning production in Canada next month under the direction of David M. Rosenthal, the film centers on a mysterious apocalyptic event that turns the world into mayhem. Theo James plays a young father who will stop at nothing to get across the country to his pregnant wife. Written by Brooks McLaren, How It Ends is produced by Paul Sciff, Kelly McCormick, Tai Duncan, and Patrick Newall serve as producers. Sierra’s Nick Meyer and Marc Schaberg are executive producing.

Netflix Orders The Series Adaption Of THE WITCHER Saga

Netflix has yet another original series in the works, based on the eight Witcher novels, with author Andrej Sapkowski on board as a creative consultant. Not only is Sapkowski “thrilled” about the new series, he says it will “stay true to the source material”. Known as The Witcher saga, the New York Times best selling books spawned a hit video game franchise by the same name. Tom Baginski who directed the intros for all three Witcher games will be directing at least one of the episodes each season. That’s right, I said seasons. The novels center on hunters, known as “witchers”, who develop supernatural abilities as a young age to battle monsters. Sean Daniel (The Mummy), Jason Brown (The Expanse), Tomek Baginski (The Cathedral), and Jarek Sawko (Another Day of Life) will serve as executive producers for the show, THR reports. Fit To Be Tied? Stephen King and Netflix Have Got You Covered

As is the way with many Stephen King fans, I sit awaiting the big screen adaptations of IT and The Dark Tower with feverish anticipation. However, my Little Monsters, we mustn’t allow ourselves become too distracted by large menacing clowns or allow that dark tower cast too large a shadow over other King adaptations that are coming to smaller screens. One such adaptation is for his 1992 novel, Gerald’s Game, which will be released exclusively on Netflix sometime this year. BBC’s New Supernatural Series ‘Requiem’ To Be Produced By Netflix

Imagine if you will, that your parent passes away and everything that they have ever hold told you about themselves and you is a lie. That’s exactly what happens in the upcoming supernatural BBC series Requiem. Currently, Netflix is in negotiations to co-produce the show with BBC One, according to ScreenDaily. Requiem, which will feature six hour-long episodes, is set to begin filming in Wales next week and will be produced by Indian Summers and New Pictures. Penned by Kris Mrksa (Glitch), the series will star UK actress Lydia Wilson (pictured above) who also had a role in the hit series Ripper Street. Joel Fry (Plebs), Game of Thrones‘ Tara Fitzgerald, and James Frencheville (Animal Kingdom) co-star. The story centers on a young woman (Wilson) who learns the truth about herself, to the point of unravelling her own identity, after her mother passes away.
