Nightmares ‘Come True’ On Digital This September Following Fantasia Premiere

From acclaimed Canadian filmmaker, visual effects artist and musician Anthony Scott Burns (Our House, Holidays Father’s Day segment) and executive produced by cult filmmaker Vincenzo Natali, director of Cube, Splice and Netflix’s In the Tall Grass, comes a dark exploration into a world of nightmares, fears, and the monsters within in Come True. Indie Sequel ‘Wicked Ones’ Arriving Just In Time For Halloween

The sequel to 2017’s award-winning indie horror The Wicked One is set to arrive just in time for Halloween. Titled Wicked Ones, the film, written by Nathan Thomas Milliner (The Confession of Fred Krueger) and Torry Jones, picks up ten years after the original ended and follows survivors Adam and Alex who return to where the nightmare started. “While Returning to Carpenter Falls, The Lawson Family come to their final confrontation with The Wicked One, a serial killer with whom their last encounter has haunted them for a decade.” Returning stars include Katie Stewart, Dale Miller, and James Tackett who are joined by Jason Crowe (The Bad Man, Harvest Lake) Roni Jonah (Powerbomb, Savage Vengeance) Morgan Pyle (Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile) and Skyler Guthrie (Stage Fright) Wicked Ones, from Jonestown Films and Studio 605, is set to make its World Premiere at Triple Crown Plaza in Louisville, KY on October 3, 2020. Maisie Williams Is Trapped In A House Of Horrors In ‘The Owners’ Trailer

“Game of Thrones” actress Maisie Williams stars in co-writer-director Julius Berg‘s (The Forest) horror-thriller The Owners. In The Owners, set in the 1990s, a group of friends thinks they have found the perfect easy score – an empty house with a safe full of cash. But when the elderly couple that lives there comes home early the tables are suddenly turned. As a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues the would-be thieves are left to fight to save themselves from a nightmare they could never have imagined. Williams stars alongside Sylvester McCoy, Jake Curran, Ian Kenny, Andrew Ellis, and Rita Tushingham. Berg co-wrote the script with Matthieu Gompel. ‘Antebellum’ Won’t Premiere In August After All

Just as Lionsgate’s Antebellum was nearing it’s August the 21st premiere date, the film has been delayed again, this time with no premiere date in sight. In fact, it has been removed for the schedule altogether. The question is, was the film removed due to the pandemic or because of the subject matter as tensions continue to rise surrounding the Black Lives Matters movement.
