Season 9 Of “The Walking Dead” Sinks Its Teeth Into A Blu-Ray Release Date

Season 9 of “The Walking Dead” arrives on Blu-ray™ (plus Digital), DVD and Digital this August from Lionsgate. New showrunner Angela Kang takes the helm as Rick Grimes prepares to make his exit from one of the world’s most popular TV series. “The Walking Dead” Season 9 stars award winner Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Heartbreaker), Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, Triple 9), Lauren Cohan (All Eyez on Me, TV’s “Whiskey Cavalier,” Mile 22), Danai Gurira (Black Panther, All Eyez on Me), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, TV’s “The Good Wife” and “Grey’s Anatomy”), and Academy Award® nominee Samantha Morton (2003, Best Actress, In America). Last season brought the culmination of “All Out War,” which pitted Rick Grimes and his group of survivors against the Saviors and their leader, Negan. With Negan’s life in his hands, Rick had a character-defining choice in front of him, and he spared Negan to uphold the values his late son, Carl, championed – values that created

A Recap: The Last Episode For Rick Grimes??

WARNING SPOILERS “The final season for Rick Grimes.” “The Final episode for Rick Grimes.” That’s what we have been hearing for months. But it’s no surprise that AMC has pulled a dirty little trick again. When a show not only announces that their star is leaving but used it as an advertising point, well it sounded shady from the get-go. In case you missed it, thinking he wouldn’t survive his injury from falling onto the rebar and being followed by a massive horde of walkers, Rick blew up the bridge insight of the group who are fighting to get to him. While the gang thinks Rick is dead he’s not. Instead of being blown up on the bridge he somehow survived and is rescued by Jadis and put on a mysterious helicopter. This is not the first time the series has played games with our emotions. Remember when Glenn hid under a dumpster leaving fans to wonder if he was

Watch The Preview Of Rick Grimes’ Final Episode

Eight years ago we were introduced to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), now we’re going to have to say goodbye on Sunday, November 4th. For months “TWD” has teased the death of the series’ main character. This past Sunday we saw Rick thrown from a horse and shishkabobed on a piece of rebar. The episode ended in a cliffhanger as Rick lay on a slab of concrete as two hordes of walkers approached from two directions. The new promo for “What Comes After”, the next episode, is here for the episode which will be Andrew Lincoln’s last. In the video we see Rick wounded and flashes of him on the horse struggling to find help, hallucinating, and Rick in a bed, possibly the very one he woke up in when we were introduced to him in the series premiere. During the video we also see Rick having a series of flashbacks that will include cameos by Shane and Hershel. While it’s

New “Walking Dead” Teaser Reminds Us That These Are Rick’s Final Episodes

Following the news that “The Walking Dead” universe plans to stick around for another decade, a new teaser for this season has been released, reminding us that ninth season will be the last for Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). “Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman won’t say how Rick will go but he did say this: …got something amazing planned. I wouldn’t want to spoil anything, but anybody who’s been a fan of his journey, who loves Rick Grimes, who loves the world of The Walking Dead, you’re going to want to see what we do.” This season: Now, viewers will see the survivors a year and a half after the end of the war, rebuilding civilization under Rick’s steadfast leadership. It is a time of relative peace among the communities as they work together, looking to the past to forge the future, but the world they knew is rapidly changing as man-made structures continue to degrade, and nature takes over, changing

Is The “Fully Nude” Walker A Bad Sign For ‘The Walking Dead’?

AMC’s zombie series The Walking Dead will be returning February 25th where the remaining fan base can see what happens to Carl and hopefully the conclusion of the war between Rick and Negan, the longest confrontation of the show. This confrontation may also be possibly the reason why last season’s rating was low. After the heartbreaking mid-season end that’s leaving many fans confused about the fate of Carl who was bitten by a walker (honestly I think fans will be disappointed since Chandler Riggs has since cut his hair and is attending college.). With many “what ifs” being put out on the internet trying to woo fans back to the series that seems to be running in circles and no longer progressing, it appears yesterday the show’s writers have reached desperation to attract fans. They will have a fully nude walker. Right now many people are leaning closer to the computer screen saying “go on…” while many others are collectively

Andrew Lincoln Channels His ‘Inner Witch’

The Walking Dead star announced a day ago via video, and with his real accent, that was played at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando that he’s narrating the audiobook version of the book Quidditch Through the Ages written by J.K. Rowling under the guise of the fictional character Kennilworthy Whisp who’s an expert of the sport as well as a diehard fan. The book is a guide and history to the popular fictional wizard world sport Quidditch, a game played on flying brooms where the sport itself is a mixture of water polo, ice hockey, rugby, and soccer (or football to you Europeans). Proceeds from the book, which was written in 2001, and the upcoming audio version go to Comic Relief and Lumos charities. The audiobook is set to come out March 15th and can be pre-ordered. For more information about the audiobook head over to Pottermore!

New Walking Dead Image Teases New Characters And Location

The second half of season 7 of ‘The Walking Dead’ is only weeks away (thank God). When the hit series returns Rick and the group will be making their case to both Hilltop and The Kingdom for why they should all band together and rise up against Negan and his Saviors. Images and teasers are already beginning to find their way to fans including a new image that teases new characters and a new location. We have already filled you in about one new group that the gang will be meeting, but we have no idea if that’s who the image is of. Take a look. Rick clearly has that posture that he gets when he’s feeling like a badass, you can almost imagine him saying, “You looking at me? Well are you, punk?”. The good news is Rick and Daryl are back together and they’re pissed. Synopsis for 7B: The first half of Season 7 saw Rick (Andrew Lincoln)

Danai Gurira Gives Insight Into Michonne’s State Of Mind

When we first introduced to Michonne she was tough, and a bit cold. Over the past few seasons we have seen her let down her guard and form a loving relationship with her group, especially with Rick, Carl and Judith. Last season we witnessed Michonne and Rick share a heated moment and began a real relationship. That still continues but Negan’s arrival has brought tension into their affair. While Rick seems to have submitted to Negan’s rule, Michonne has no interest in being Negan’s servant and that is causing the two love birds problems that are only going to escalate. It’s a bit hard to judge what is going on in Michonne’s head. She is not a talker and has one hell of a poker face. According to Danai Gurira who plays the Katakana wielding, walker killing, badass, Michonne and Rick have grown apart. She’s at a place where she knows they need to prepare for dealing with [Negan] and

New Clip From The Walking Dead Season 7 Gives Us A Look At Negan’s Victim

Concluding the huge Walking Dead panel at this weekend’s New York Comic Con, AMC took a bold step and revealed a new sneak peek clip of the season 7 premiere, titled “Right Hand Man”. In the premiere we will finally find out who Negan beat to death. The new clip gives several major clues. Warning! Stop reading now if you want to avoid spoilers! First, we see Rick’s face splattered with blood, meaning that the victim was close. After Rick looks Negan in the eye and says, “I’m going to kill you.” Negan puts the bat in Rick’s face and asks, “What? I didn’t quite catch that you’re going to have to speak up.” Rick responds, “Not today. Not tomorrow. But I’m going to kill you.” That’s our Rick. At this point Negan grabs him and drags him towards the RV before the clip ends. One of the hardest parts of the clip is that when Rick is dragged away

Robert Kirkman Reveals Certain Character Will Die On The Walking Dead And You Won’t Believe Who It Is

WARNING SPOILERS ! Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Walking Dead fans have been sure two things, one that Negan was coming (He has arrived) and two, that the series’ beloved sheriff Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, will see the show through its entire run. We were wrong about the latter of the two. Keeping with the show’s theme of “anyone can die at any time,” Robert Kirkman, who fans see as a big kid with magnifying glass, burning everything we love, broke the news that Rick will die at some point (Damn it Kirkman). During a live Q&A for his upcoming series Outcast, the topic quickly turned to The Walking Dead. Kirkman got a question that simply asking “do Rick die?”. Grammar aside, Reddit user maxforce54 asked a good question. Kirkman’ answer was heartbreaking, “He do eventually.” Well, damn. I mean, he’s writer couldn’t have just lied? Even if Rick is meant to die at some point did
