Fox will be bringing the adaption of Joe Hill’s upcoming novel The Fireman to the big screen. Now You See Me’s Louis Leterrier will be directing.
Joe Hill
In the novel, a worldwide pandemic of spontaneous combustion threatens to reduce civilization to ashes. A band of improbable heroes battle to save it. Their leader is an enigmatic man simply known as the Fireman.
The Fireman (novel) will be for sale in stores and online this May. Hill has already built quite the reputation. His novel N0S4A2 is being adapted for a series for AMC and In The Tall Grass, which he co-wrote with his father Stephen King, is also being adapted as a film. He clearly inherited his father’s gift for writing.
