Rings, the direct sequel to the american The Ring franchise, was supposed to be released on April 1st, but we’re left wondering if that was just an April Fool’s day joke by Paramount. Now, Rings has been delayed once again and the new release date set as October 28th.
It’s been a decade since The Ring 2 opened in theaters. This time it is director F. Javier Gutierezz that will bring Samara back to life along with the cursed tape that summons her seven days after it’s viewed.
Rings stars Aimee Teegarden (Scream 4), Laura Wiggins (Shameless), Matilda Lutz (Mi chiamo Maya), Alex Rose (The 5th Wave), Johnny Galecki (I Know What You Did Last Summer), Zach Roerig (The Vampire Diaries), and Bonnie Morgan (The Devil Inside).
