Last night while scrolling through Facebook I came across a necklace with the sculpted bust of the werewolf from ‘The Howling’.  It blew my mind. I had to look further into the artist’s page, Rusty Blonde Art. I found jewelry depicting sculpts of everyone from Poe to Edward Scissorhands to Jack Torrance from ‘The Shining’. It was not all jewelry, there are also figures that look so real that I had to look twice, then a third time. They are all absolutely amazing.

Imge Celepçi (aka Rusty Blonde), an amazingly gifted freelance artist/sculpter from Istanbul, Turkey. After only four years of working with Polymer clay, at the age of 33 Imge has the skill that normally takes a lifetime to build. Her workshop can be found at the isolated house in rural Istanbul that she shares with her husband, who she bills as “the best known metal singer/musician in the country”, and their four rescue dogs. She is also a musician herself, singing in a darkwave band called ‘The Nighted Nations’.

Her favorite horror film, 1985’s ‘Fright Night’, was watched every day while she was growing up. You can clearly see her love for the horror genre in the incredible details of her work.

Give her work one glance, and you won’t be able to deny that her pieces are brilliant. The best part, you can own one of her pieces for yourself. All you have to do is visit her Facebook page, Etsy shop, Instagram account or her GoShoppier page. She also does custom pieces, including adorable busts and figures of beloved pets and people.
