Islamic Exorcist is exactly what it sounds like; The Exorcist, just with Islam. Given The Exorcist is one of the best horror movies ever made however, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. And Islam can stand toe to toe with any other religion as far as scary ass demons go. Ever heard of Zaccoum? It’s basically a tree, except with more decapitated heads.
Based on a true story (because what good exorcism movie isn’t?), Islamic Exorcist is directed by Faisal Saif, who actually received death threats while filming. From the mouth of the man himself, “I got lots of life threats from the Muslim and Shia Muslim community to not to make this film or if already made, not to showcase it anywhere.”
Damn. With that much horror just behind the scenes, the full film itself must be terrifying.
