Ash Mountain Films has launched their crowdfunding campaign for their second genre film Nefarious, the home invasion horror-thriller from director Richard Rowntree (Dogged).

Following the success of their first feature Dogged, which will be released later this year in North America and in the UK by Left Films, the team has embarked on another ambitious feature film project, and they’re hoping for lots more support from the horror community to get it made.
In the Nefarious, a home invasion goes terribly wrong leaving the protagonists fighting for their lives against a predator of monstrous proportions.
The film promises to focus on themes relating to real world current issues including poverty & the class divide, mental health and sexual manipulation, and boasts a cast horror fans will be familiar with in Toby Wynn-Davies (Escape From Cannibal Farm, Dogged) and star of the hit Crypt TV short film “The Birch”, Aaron Thomas Ward. The team has promised some imaginative & gory practical effects, combined with a very character driven story which should appeal to horror fans everywhere.
