Albania’s first horror film, from Domiziano Cristopharo, was inspired by the true story of Ricardo López, the man who stalked musician Bjork.
Lopez’s obsession with the Icelandic singer spanned several years. He became enraged when she began to see musician Goldie. Following months of strange video diary entries, Lopez sent Bjork a package filled with sulfuric acid in hopes of killing her or at least maiming her. He quickly committed suicide and when police found his body and video diary they were able to intercept the package before it reached the singer.
