Daniel XIII; the result of an arcane ritual involving a King Diamond album, a box of Count Chocula, and a copy of Swank magazine, is a screenwriter, director, producer, actor, artist, and reviewer of fright flicks…Who hates ya baby?

Richard (genre vet Bill Oberst Jr.) is a thief out for one last kick. Along for the final heist is his daughter and partner-in-crime Mouse (Mary Katherine O’Donnell) and Percy (Kane Hodder; THE Jason Voorhees mother fucker!), a true psychopath of an individual who truly annoys the ever-lovin’ piss out of Rich.

Meanwhile, Melvin (David Rucker III) and his stepdaughter Caroline (Kelley Wilson Robinson) are hangin’ around their museum of outre oddities, just taking care of their newest acquisition; the supposed remains of a vicious vamp known as Masquerade (Veronika Stoykova).

Of course those remains are legit A.F., and soon Masquerade is up and about, and you know damn well she’s crosses paths with that criminal crew mentioned up yonder… on Halloween night no less!

Writer/director Jess Norvisgaard wastes no time with The Good Things Devils Do; and delivers plenty of murder n’ mayhem from nearly beginning to end, with plenty of the red sauce splashed about when called for!

There’s also plenty of turns plot-wise as ol’ Masquerade puts the bite on folks resulting in her own fang bang gang, and besides the above mentioned horror biz luminaries, we also get a nice cameo from legendary scream queen Linnea Quigley (let’s go with … so that’s a beastly bonus there cats n’ creeps!

If there’s a negative with  The Good Things Devils Do is that it crams a lot into it’s compact eighty minute runtime and the plot takes a hit here or there resulting in some uneven flow, if ya dig what I’m throwin’ down!

Look, The Good Things Devils Do is a solid lil fright flick with a bit of the ol’ crimson, a great cast, and a vampire vixen run amok… so a ghoulish good time indeed!
