Jordan Peele is a busy guy. Not only does he have multiple series currently on TV including “Twilight Zone,” “Hunters,” and the brilliant series “Lovecraft Country” he’s also been busy producing films including Nia DaCosta’s Candyman.
We reported last week that Peele is working on a remake of The People Under the Stairs. Now, news has come that on top of all that, the Get Out and Us filmmaker has just inked a deal with Universal Pictures. The new arrangement gives Peele a sweet five-year production deal. One of the films to be included is reportedly a remake of Nightmare of Elm Street.
But wait, there’s more! Peele is currently working on his next film, which he will direct, and he is already promising it will be scarier than both Get Out and Us. While we don’t know much about the movie, we do know it will be released on July 22, 2022.
