THR is reporting that Sony Pictures has won the bidding war for 28 Years Later, part of a brand new trilogy reviving the post-apocalyptic chills of the 2002 classic, according to THR. The original’s visionary director, Danny Boyle, returns to helm the project, reuniting with screenwriter Alex Garland.
