Shudder, the leading streaming service for all things horror has unveiled the chilling trailer for the supersized sixth season of “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs,” which will be premiering this March.

A Live Tribute to a Genre Legend

This season starts with a bang, featuring a special event: “The Last Drive-In Live: A Tribute to Roger Corman.” Recorded live from the electrifying Las Vegas setting, host Joe Bob Briggs leads a night dedicated to the legendary filmmaker Roger Corman, celebrating his incredible 70 years in Hollywood.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. Horror fans are in for a treat as Roger Corman and his wife, Julie Corman, join Joe Bob for a conversation filled with behind-the-scenes anecdotes and insights into Corman’s illustrious career. To add to the thrill, a surprise visit from one of Roger’s oldest friends and collaborators, the iconic Bruce Dern, promises a night packed with laughter, nostalgia, and horror history.

Corman has left an enormous legacy in the world of entertainment. He directed films like The Masque of the Red Death, wrote films like The Little Shop of Horrors, and produced over 400 films, including The Haunting of Hill House. But that’s not all. He’s also an actor, appearing in classics such as The Silence of the Lambs and The Manchurian Candidate. He has over 620 credits to his name, making him one of the most prolific filmmakers in history.

Following the live tribute special, “The Last Drive-In” returns to its signature format, delivering all-new movie watch parties every other Friday at 9 PM ET. This season embraces a biweekly schedule, offering a curated selection of single-feature spotlights and surprise horror gems.
