Get ready for a horror mashup that might ruin your childhood forever. In collaboration with iHorror, Untouchables Entertainment is brewing a terrifying cocktail of nostalgia and bloodshed with their new film, Mickey vs. Winnie, currently filming in Michigan.

Mickey vs. Winnie throws two beloved children’s characters, Mickey Mouse and Winnie-the-Pooh, into a brutal fight for survival. The film takes these public-domain characters and injects them with a nightmarish twist, transforming them into grotesque figures fueled by a dark curse.

The story follows a group of friends on a seemingly harmless Airbnb getaway. Their location – a cursed forest – turns sinister when they become entangled in a horrifying legacy. Two escaped convicts from the 1920s become unwitting pawns, mutated by the forest’s power into monstrous versions of Mickey Mouse and Winnie-the-Pooh.

The friends’ vacation quickly descends into a desperate struggle for survival. Forced to confront these twisted reflections of their childhood heroes, they must fight back against the bloodthirsty Mickey and Winnie. A brutal showdown ensues, leaving the forest stained with a gruesome reminder of the curse’s power.

Mickey vs. Winnie is the brainchild of director and Emmy-nominated choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard. A director we’ve been following for years and interviewed a while back. Packard, a horror enthusiast himself, describes the film as a tribute to the thrill of seeing iconic characters clash. He emphasizes that the film goes beyond basic masks, creating truly horrifying live-action interpretations of these beloved figures.

Packard will direct from his original script and produce alongside creative partner Rachel Carter under their Untouchables Entertainment banner. Genre blog founder Anthony Pernicka, representing iHorror, will join the production team. Pernicka promises a unique take on familiar characters that will leave audiences forever changed.

“We’re thrilled to unveil this unique take to horror fans. The Mickey Mouse featured in our film is unlike any iteration audiences have encountered before. Our portrayal doesn’t involve characters donning basic masks. Instead, we present deeply transformed, live-action horror renditions of these iconic figures, weaving together elements of innocence and malevolence. After experiencing the intense scenes we’ve crafted, you’ll never look at Mickey the same way again.”

This isn’t the only film featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and Mickey Mouse. Watch out for the new universe that is taking classic characters like Mickey and Pooh, Steamboat Willie, Bambi, Peter Pan, and more and turning them into nightmares.
