Prime Video has just unveiled the first look at season two of the Emmy-nominated, mind-bending series “The Devil’s Hour,” which premieres this October.

Season two sees Lucy (Jessica Raine) and Gideon (Peter Capaldi) form an uneasy alliance. They aim to prevent a recurring tragedy and hunt down an elusive monster. Lucy’s double life sees her torn between family and duty. And she finds herself in the crosshairs of her past-life husband, DI Ravi Dhillon (Nikesh Patel). Assisting Dhillon in his investigation is DS Sam Boyd (Saffron Hocking).

Meanwhile, Isaac (Benjamin Chivers) struggles to maintain his balance in a reality that rejects his existence. New mysteries unfold as lives converge. It all leads up to one explosive moment. A moment that will change the fate of our characters for the rest of their ever-recurring lives.

The returning cast includes Benjamin Chivers (Napoleon), Alex Ferns (Chernobyl), Barbara Marten (Sanctuary), and Thomas Dominique (Blood Drive). Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty (Last Night) also returns. Jessica Raine (Patrick Melrose, Informer), Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who, The Thick of It), Nikesh Patel (Starstruck), Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), and Meera Syal (Yesterday, Goodness Gracious Me) round out the cast. Saffron Hocking (Top Boy) joins the cast for season two.

The series was written and created by Tom Moran. Johnny Allan and Shaun James Grant direct. Hartswood Films (Dracula, Sherlock) produce alongside Lawrence Till (Douglas is Cancelled). Sue Vertue, Tom Moran, and Steven Moffat are the executive producers. Produces the series.

Not only will the series’ fans get its second season, but filming for the third season recently wrapped at Shepperton Studios, Hampshire, Surrey, and Dartmoor.

Season two of “The Devil’s Hour,” featuring five episodes, premieres exclusively on Prime Video on October 18th. Take a look at the first images from the new action-packed season below.
