Just when you thought it was finally safe to trust a tall ladder again, the franchise that turned a rusty TV tower into the ultimate nightmare is back. Lionsgate has officially dropped the gripping new trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2022 sleeper hit, Fall. If the original film made you swear off high-altitude maintenance, this follow-up is engineered to make you terrified of the entire planet.

A New Altitude of Agony

While the original trapped two friends on a tiny platform 2,000 feet in the air, the sequel is swapping out rusted metal for sheer, vertical terror.

Deadpoint follows a fresh pair of thrill-seeking friends as they attempt to conquer the brutal, legendary rock faces of Thailand. Naturally, what starts as an idyllic, influencer-worthy expedition devolves into a desperate, high-stakes battle against gravity.

The trailer promises to turn up the heat with unforgiving tropical terrain. There are rock faces that crumble at the worst possible moments, and dizzying exposure with zero safety nets. There is no shelter, no ground beneath their feet, and no help when everything goes wrong.

New Directors, Fresh Targets

Taking over the reins for this stress-inducing expedition are The Spierig Brothers (Predestination, Jigsaw). They are bringing their signature knack for visceral tension to the franchise.

The screenplay comes courtesy of original architectural sadists Jonathan Frank and Scott Mann. They produce alongside James Harris, Mark Lane, David Haring, and Christian Mercuri.

Hoping to keep their footing is a stacked new trio of lead talent that includes Harriet Slater (Pennyworth), Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), and Tom Brittney (Greyhound, Grantchester).

Pack Your Chalk Bags

If you love movies that instantly trigger sweaty palms, an elevated heart rate, and acrophobia, Fall 2: Deadpoint is shaping up to be the ultimate adrenaline rush to cap off your summer movie season.

Watch the grueling new trailer right now. And maybe prepare to book a vacation where your feet stay firmly planted in the sand. Fall 2: Deadpoint climbs into theaters on September 2, 2026. Follow the official Fall Instagram account for a look inside the film and updates.
