No major sci-fi or horror blockbuster is complete without a mockbuster version from The Asylum. The internet is currently buzzing about Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film, Disclosure Day, starring Emily Blunt. Naturally, The Asylum is ready to answer with their own hilariously timed counterpart: Alien Disclosure Day.

This studio is famous for pumping out rapid-fire releases to match Hollywood trends. Recently, they gave audiences Master of the Universe, Shark Thrash, and The Odyssey. Their newest project promises the same low-budget, campy thrills.

The Creative Team & Cast

Director Adrian Avila is back at the helm for this chaotic ride. He wrote the screenplay alongside his frequent collaborator, Gabriel Avila. Adrian Avila is a true veteran of high-concept, low-budget sci-fi movies. He previously directed Alien Apocalypse, Alien: Rubicon, and the disaster flick Airplane 2025.

Leading the cast is actor Matthew Gademske, who previously survived Earthquake Underground. He stars alongside Eugenia Gonzales, known for her role in The Possession Experiment. Rounding out the primary team is Krymis J Fernando, fresh off the survival thriller Ice-Pocalypse.

The Plot

The United States government sends a team of deep-space miners to a distant planet. Their mission is to excavate valuable, rare resources. The crew completes their assignment and heads home.

However, they unknowingly pick up extremely hostile alien stowaways. During the journey, the ship suddenly loses all contact with Earth control. A specialized rescue team is quickly scrambled to board the quiet vessel.

They find a total nightmare waiting for them. The vicious creatures escape the ship and launch a brutal attack on Earth. The main alien threat includes a massive, deadly queen.

If the human soldiers can kill the queen, the entire alien horde will die. It is a desperate race against time to save the planet.

What to Expect

Expect intense action, practical effects, and pure entertainment. The Avila brothers are delivering a fast-paced survival story. So, grab your popcorn for this wild sci-fi ride. Alien Disclosure Day hits Friday, May 29, 2026, ahead of Spielberg’s Disclosure Day landing in theaters on June 12.
