Three major entertainment entities recently announced an innovative creator-focused horror label. The new strategic venture is officially named Made By Spooky. Creator management studio Made By Us is partnering with two prominent production companies: global studio Image Nation Studios and indie genre label Spooky Pictures, in this exciting collaboration. As a result, the initiative aims to launch digital talent into mainstream film and television.

Launching Digital Storytellers Worldwide

Made By Spooky provides a dedicated platform for creators from YouTube, TikTok, and Meta. Additionally, the studio focuses heavily on developing original short-form and vertically serialized content. These digital projects will then transition into expanded long-form cinematic franchises. Therefore, the slate directly bridges online content creation with traditional Hollywood studio distribution. Notably, the label’s first official wave of creative projects will debut next year.

Expanding Premium Vertical Formats

Recently, Made By Us announced an exclusive strategic co-production partnership with social platform TikTok. The collaboration focuses on developing premium, creator-led vertical micro-series for global audiences.

The first project, the genre micro-series titled The Knock, leads this fresh production slate. Filmmaker R.H. Stavis created and directed this intriguing new project. Moreover, digital comedy star Adam Rose headlines the series opposite talented actress Zaria Simone. Legendary musician Moby composed the original score and co-produced the project.

A Powerful Combined Horror Legacy

Historically, Image Nation Studios and Spooky Pictures maintain an exceptionally successful genre partnership. For instance, they previously co-produced the critically acclaimed hit film Late Night with the Devil. They also developed the psychological thriller Watcher alongside the supernatural horror movie Hokum. Their robust slate also includes upcoming high-profile projects with major distributor A24. Specifically, they are producing a new “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” television series and feature film. As a result, Made By Spooky builds on this legacy by empowering new digital storytellers.
