Are you a true crime fan? If the answer is “yes,” then we have something special to share with you. Oxygen’sDeath Row Confidential” is premiering this week, and it’s something like you’ve never seen before.

Death Row Confidential” delves into the cold cases of victims of serial killer Joseph Naso (aka The Alphabet Killer).  The origin of his nickname, “The Alphabet Killer,” is due to his M.O. Not only did he strangle many of his victims, but many also had double initials, for example, names like Marilyn Monroe (MM).

What makes the series stand out among other true crime stories is how the investigation began, with a San Quentin Death Row inmate, William “Bill” Noguera, Naso’s cellmate, coming forward with details of Naso’s confessions and contacting cold case detective Ken Mains with the details. There’s something else that sets it apart. We get to watch from the very beginning as the cold cases are solved. But there’s more, you’ll witness interviews with those involved, including Noguera and Mains’ team. You’ll also see heart-wrenching interviews with the victim’s families. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions.

I sat down with retired FBI detective Ken Mains, who continues to dedicate his life to solving cold cases, to talk about “Death Row Confidential,” the serial killer, the cases, and his mission to give the victims a voice as well as to deliver long-awaited answers to their loved ones.

Tune in to Oxygen on September 13 to watch the premiere of “Death Row Confidential,” an intense and emotional true crime event that you don’t want to miss!
