We’ve been following ‘Rings’, the third film in American ‘The Ring’ franchise, since last year. Now, the film is approaching its theatrical release and we have the film’s first trailer (below), released early this morning.
In ‘Rings’ Samara returns with a familiar video to strike terror in the hearts of genre fans again. Instead of a tape, this time the video is delivered through a computer.
The film was directed by F. Jaier Gutierrez, and written by Jacob Aaron Estes, Akiva Goldman and David Loucka, based on the novel by Koji Suzuki. ‘Rings’ stars Alex Roe, Aimee Teegarden, Johnny Galecki, Lauren Wiggins, Zach Roerig, Surely Alvelo and Bonnie Morgan as Samara.
Samara is back, and we have to say, she’s scarier than ever. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think. ‘Rings’ will arrive in theaters nationwide on October 28th from Paramount Pictures, just in time for Halloween.
