
Walt Disney Studios has just released the first teaser trailer for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales’, named after Disney’s ride. In the teaser trailer we get our first look at Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar and young man Henry, played by Brenton Thwaites, as he promises to deliver a message to Captain Sparrow from Captain Salazar.
The film is said to not only feature ghosts, but witches as well. Johnny Depp will go head to head with the supernatural once again as Captain Jack Sparrow. Geoffrey Rush will return as Captain Barbossa and Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as Captain Will Turner. Kaya Scodelario and David Wenham, will co-star.
In the film, Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
Joachim Ronning co-directed alongside Espen Sandberg, based on the script penned by Stuart Beattie and Ted Elliot. Jerry Bruckheimer produced. Joseph M. Caracciolo Jr., Chad Oman, Mike Stenson and Brigham Taylor serves as executive producers for the film.
‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ will sail into theaters nation wide on March 26, 2017.
