News continues to fly out of CinemaCon. This time, the subject is Alexandre Aja‘s upcoming horror film Crawl whose first footage was revealed today at the Con.
In Crawl, Kaya Scodelario plays a young woman who, while struggling to save her father during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped inside a flooding house and fighting for her life against Florida’s most savage and feared predators, the alligator.
Barry Pepper, Ross Anderson, and Anson Boon are co-starring in the movie that is part creature feature, part horror, and part disaster movie.
CinemaCon attendees can’t stop talking about the footage, calling it “bloody and chaotic.” But what else would you expect from the director of The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Piranha 3D, High Tension, and Mirrors? This is going to be bloody good!
Produced by Sam Raimi‘s (Evil Dead) Ghost House Pictures, Crawl swims into theaters on July 12th, 2019.
