Zach Snyder‘s highly anticipated action-zombie flick Army of the Dead is now heading to select theaters on Friday, May 14th ahead of its Netflix premiere later this month.
In the movie, Dave Bautista and his crew of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. But first, they have to get past the zombies and these aren’t your average slow zombies, these are fast, organized monsters that will leave the team fighting for their lives, and the money.
Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone, and Michael Cassidy also star.
Snyder directed and also co-wrote this goretastic flick with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold. He also produces along with Deborah Snyder, and Wesley Coller.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the Tiger in the movie created with the aid of Carole Baskin from Netflix’s “Tiger King.” The white tiger is clearly a nod to Vegas’ famous Siegfried and Roy.
Get your tickets and locate a theater by heading to the Fandango site. Army of the Dead premieres on Netflix on May 21, 2021.
