Besides being a horror addict, I am a complete history nerd, so naturally, I am excited to report that Lionsgate is gearing up to release the first two seasons of History Channel’s fantastic docuseries “History’s Greatest Mysteries“, hosted by Emmy award-winning actor Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix). The docuseries explores the most historically important and enduring mysteries from all over the world.
“History’s Greatest Mysteries” explores the most popular theories surrounding the world’s most elusive mysteries. From deaths and disappearances of famous figures to buried treasures and alleged government cover-ups, each episode of the first two seasons of this compelling docuseries features interviews with renowned historians, scientists, and researchers, as they examine long-held explanations for these paradoxical events.
Season one kicks off with an investigation into the lost gold of the Aztecs, next we learn about the Curse of Oak Island, and in another episode, the series delves into the events at the infamous Skinwalker Ranch. The action and mindboggling mysteries continue from there.
Lionsgate will release “History’s Greatest Mysteries: Seasons One & Two” on DVD on June 7, 2022.
