This October, our favorite possessed doll is back to raise some hell in season two of “Chucky,” whose trailer has just arrived revealing Chucky on a mission to hunt down the survivors of season one.
In this season of the TV series from the creator of the franchise, Don Mancini, “Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies, and new prey, as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, can “Jevon” make it as a couple in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand-new onslaught of terror from the demon doll?”
Brad Dourif will return as the voice of Chucky. Jennifer Tilly is back as both herself and as the voice of Tiffany. Alex Vincent is reprising the role of Andy Barclay from the original two Child’s Play movies and the first season of “Chucky. “ Christine Elise, who starred in Child’s Play 2, is also returning along with Zackary Arthur, who will play Jack Wheeler, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, and Barbara Alyn Woods as the town’s Mayor, Michelle Cross. Devon Sawa will also be returning, this time as a new character.
New cast members include Meg Tilly (Psycho 2, Body Snatchers), Gina Gershon (Bound, Killer Joe), Joe Pantoliano (Memento), Tony Nappo (Saw II), Lara Jean Chorostecki (NBC’s “Hannibal”), and Sutton Stracke (“Real Housewives”).
The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner, and Jeff Renfroe.
